"Todd and Bruce are trying to work out the specifics of the cutoff to assure the tests are still effective because we know that 30 days before is not effective," Schaefer said. "At 30 days, we might as well not even do it. We want to figure it out [the cutoff window] and I will give my recommendation to Team Mayweather, and they will be on board. USADA is the most recognized one, but if it's another one, like the Nevada commission, we don't really care. I don't care who performs the tests as long as they are performed. That's our position. If this fight doesn't happen it's not because of Team Mayweather."
this was just reported by dan rafael, enough said, if pac doesnt agree its on him, what do all the *******s think now

**** all this BS demands....if money thinks he can easily beat pac...why all the trouble? why don't they just go for the standard Nevada State Boxing Commission drug test and get on with it....If he's really confident that he will win.....but i guess he's afraid **** of fighting pacquiao...that's why he's bitching around....

cutoff when they leave LA to go to Vegas. Usually thats between 1 and 2 weeks out.

    seems the most logical

anyways this is not the biggest fight in history regardless of how much $ it will generate.

    Bigger than

    the rumble in the jungle?

    the brawl in montreal?

    the thrilla in manilla?

What? No way. I don't see anyone claiming that "the world awaits" was bigger than those fights even though its a higher grossing one.

What by doing a press release basically trying to get people to insinuate that Pacquiao is on some form of illegal PEDs. These m'fers where trying to bully and coerce Pacquiao to sign the contract through media pressure.

    From Fishnets:

If Pacquiao, the toughest guy on the planet, is afraid of needles and having a few tablespoons of blood drawn from his system, then something is wrong. The guy has tattoos everywhere; he’s tattooed from top to bottom. You’re telling me he’s afraid of needles?

And the idea that urine tests can detect HGH [Human Growth Hormone] is wrong. I talked to Travis Tygart, CEO of the USADA. He testified before Congress that anyone who says HGH can be detected by a urine test is mistaken. It can only be detected by a blood test.

So you have to do the blood work. If Pacquiao doesn’t want to do this and risk a possible $40 million payday because he’s afraid of needles or believes he’ll be weakened by blood tests, then that raises question marks.

Now I have to wonder about him. I’m saying to myself, “Wow. Those Mosley punches, those Vargas punches and those Pacquiao punches all felt the same.” I’m not saying yes or no [about whether Pacquiao might be taking performance-enhancing drugs]; I’m just saying that now people have to wonder: “Why doesn’t he want to do this? Why is it such a big deal.”

A lot of eyebrows have been raised. This is not good at all.

I believe Mayweather wants to do the right thing, to get tested properly. He’s not doing it to harass Pacquiao; that’s garbage. I would say to Pacquiao: “Do the test. Do it because it’s only a couple of tablespoons. Needles don’t hurt. Just look away when they put the needle in your arm.” He’ll probably lose more blood in the fight than the blood being drawn for the test.

Pac team agreed to the blood test in its most logical schedules....not testing him 2 days before the fight and right after is as close as you can get to track the metabolites in his system.

this would be great, but pac needs to get his team ll on the same page because roach says 5 days not 2, and arum says 30 days not 2 or 5
