We all know he picked the easiest "champ" at 135 but that was forgiveable because it was his first fight at that weight.

Now he is cherry-picking(vice-verse for DLH) DLH for the huge payday, once again, that's forgiveable.

But 3 strikes and you're out, so he better choice his next opponent wisely!

    He's fighting a veritable giant.

From Pac's point of view - This is more significatn that Jones beating a Ruiz in my view.

For DLH its a loose loose.

    Insane.

I agree with DLH being a cherry picker, he is the exact definition of one.

    But Pacman :huh

cherry picker? diaz was supposed to be his fight rather than the marquez and he postponed moving up just to get the 130 belt that jmm holds because of the fans demands. and pac fighting oscar is cherry picking? i would rather have pac fight hoya than soto (which is his only other option this year) where pac would be citicized by fighting someone who is coming from a lost and/or was beaten by guzman already.

Yeah 135 is forgivable . . . first fight at 135 and the intention is to get the 4th divisional title.

Now the DLH fight should not be counted . . . nobody at the lower weight class has ever had a chance to get a $20 Million payday . . . not even Hamed, Hall of famer MAB or Hall of famer Morales . . . and refusing this fight would be STUPIDOUS in what ever aspect you look at it. It's an exibition fight . . . considering the other big names at 135 is fighting each other (Casa/JMM; Campbell Guzman) . . . so it's okay to get this fight while waiting for the winners instead of fighting Soto or Valero.

After this DLH fight . . . the scenario is different . . . Pac needs to fight both or either one of the winners or a lot of people including me will lose respect for him and his title as #1 p4p. If he doesn't fight the right opponent after this . . . then he is no better than PBF. :deal

    . . . but hey I don't consider that as "three count" only 2.

How can a guy moving up 3 divisions and fighting one of the top guys in the division be cherry picking?

the sad thing after this fight, he might go for hatton and not any of the other 135 champs so it would be strike 3 for pac and he would be the biggest cherry-picker of all time.

That's why I said he is "close to becoming", not "is a cherry picker"

    one count was Diaz.

    second count DLH.

Has not had his third strike yet!

Somebody doesnt seem to know what a cherry-picker is? A Cherry picker is someone who chooses a HIGH reward-LOW risk opponent

What Pacquiao is doing is fighting a HIGH reward-HIGH risk opponent.

I can't believe I still have to explain that to somebody :patsch

Pac is fighting DLH for the money but you can't ignore the fact that he's also risking himself and his career by doing that. That's FAR from being a cherry-picker.

Somebody needs to get their facts straight.

If he goes for Hatton then that's not cherry picking for me. I forgot to consider and mention that in my original post.

Hatton at 140 is still more dangerous fight for him that the rest of the 135 pounders.
