Pac is nowhere near the 3 mentioned men. When you think of guys with lots of talent, guys who can box circles around you all day, guys with such greatdefense that they'll make you look silly, you think of PBF & Whitaker, you dont think of Pac. Pac is great, but H2H against any of the 3 mentioned, he gets spanked.

He beat Barrera twice, the first when Barrera was in his prime and Pac was just an upstart. Pac beat JMM twice (first was draw but if the error was corrected, he could have won it by SD). So, why is he on top of the heap then? He's now the top draw in boxing and #1 p4p. Could they be wrong and you are right? :yep

The 3 fighters mentioned are no longer active, Pac is still creating history. Now, if your boy Gayweather would just unretire and fight Pac, let us see if you're right. I think the record of Pac can now be compared to Whitaker's as some boxing pundits would say. Considering that this wondrous talent came from flyweight division and has proven himself to be capable of beating guys like a former middleweight champ dela Hoya, a fight no one gave him a chance of winning, I think Pac may now be ahead of Whitaker.

he is one of the greats even if many do not want to agree

but he still needs to prove himself against more game competition.

pac has skills and he has a huge following... in my eyes he is like the Trinidad from the Philippines

The guy who wrote the article is out of his mind. Those aforementioned names he mentioned fought prime opposition in their absolute prime, and rose many weight classes beating PRIME OP. They fought men who were capable of beating them. Pac has only faced 2 fighters who almost fit that category. A past it Morales who still beat Pac, and J.M.M.

It wasn't until Mayweather officially retired that he became number 1, how come he was ranked number 1 before?

Most of the boxing experts/writers already considered Pac in the same level as these greats as far as ATG status is concerned. Only the haters deny this fact.

Pac may not have the so-called boxing skills of these gifted boxers some of you refer to but his speed, stamina and a singleminded determination to execute a perfect gameplan could (let me emphasize COULD) offset said skills.

With the exception of Floyd, Pac won't be fighting these legendary fighters, so H2H we can only speculate, so give the guy a break. He has proven that he can beat the odds time and again. Would it be a great injustice to give him some props and not just **** on his accomplishments?

Any sane fight historian will rank PAc high, but not anywhere close to these 3. To be ranked along with these guys, PAc has to defeat Floyd.

I also think Pac has already surpassed PBF in the ATG ranking.

LoL. Pac is a great fighter. I like his determination, his natural talent, he's got some skills, but his best asset is his dedication to training hard. Pac trains very hard for all his fights. He is a great fighter, but he's not exactly in the same league as PBF, JCC & Pernell.

He has a good resume. But H2H he would get owned by the above 3.
