lol, IMO a sport requires athleticism...otherwise if its simply requires skills then its just a "game". I class golf, F1, darts, snooker, chess a game.

I take it India wins the cricket tournament each time? I mean given that 1bil is a pretty large talent pool to choose from and it is their no.1 sport...

it's motorsports... those f1 drivers undergo up to 5 Gs of force during acceleration, braking and going through fast sweeping corners at full throttle for about 1.5 hours. it also demands very fast reflexes and non-stop concentration since you're travelling more than 320 kph and anything can happen in a blink of an eye since time is measured up to the millisecond there. the heat inside those cars is also tremendous. that's why those drivers lose around 5 lbs. in weight after a race. those f1 drivers have to be very fit to withstand that.

    True , me too ( and I'm Scottish lol ! )

That said I do like a sunday afternoon getting smoked up and watching a golf tournament , especially if its an american one, all the lovely scenery the witty commentary and the nice swing of the club. Its a truly crap sport but I can lose hours watching that **** ! :hat

To be honest they way boxing has gone I'm a little surprised that even some one as popular as Pacman is that high on the list.

Yep, top bloke and a great, respectful character. An absolute priviledge to say I've seen him in my lifetime. It is a suprise he's below a F1 guy considering his popularity. I'm stopping this convo from my end now though considering we're on a boxing forum. Lol.

some people doesnt know that manny earns around $10 million more in the philippines..

advertisements on tv. 20minute commercial after every round.
cinemas, bars and restaurant that offer live telecast.. around $10 each (500 pesos)
PPV - $500-$1,000 for public viewing and $50 for personal viewing..

and the philippines has 90+ million population.. everyone watches pacquiao fight.

all i can say is wow. money will never be a problem to manny and all his relatives even his 3rd-4th grandchildren.
