He's already top 20, if he beats Mayweather he's top 10.

So you're telling me Steward don't know **** about boxing? Go ahead and tell us Bill Gallo don't know **** about boxing either and I'll try not to laugh.

"So now we have a gym full of great lightweights - we'll just stick with this division for now - to compare with Pacquiao. Take these:

Is he as good or better than: Tony Canzoneri? My opinion - better. Barney Ross? Better.

, who held three titles at the same time? Wasn't he in the same class in throwing punches in multitudes? Didn't Armstrong fight somewhat like Pacquiao?

My answer: No. They are different fighters. While Armstrong would bury his head into his opponent's chest, firing lefts and rights to the body and head, Pacquiao is a thinking, deliberate puncher who rarely misses.

I'm going to wind this up by asking myself this question:

And he might just be the man who will eventually put boxing back in the upper deck of sports.

Believe me, this kid who aspires to be big in Philippine politics, with his perpetual smile and special brand of punching ability, is indeed the goods."

He might go in as the most plasterous fighter of all time. And besides, he was certified ATG when Pac fought him. Most feared man in boxing means nothing to you. :patsch

I certainly don't see why Pac couldn't easily argued as a top 12 fighter all time.

Anyone have Manny Steward's top 10 list from a few years back where he had Hearns and Hagler in there but not Leonard?.

to each his own. if you're a bias boxing fan or hate a boxer you could easily put him out of your top 100. But if you look closely at a fighter's accomplishments as a true boxing fan, admit it or not, Pac is way up there, and what he's done in boxing could never be duplicated for yet a long time. They say people will judge you according to what you have done, Pacquiao i think has done so much in his boxing career to be among the top ATGs, he's faced tough competitions, dominated bigger guys that's been avoided by other fighters, got 8 titles in as many weight divisions, what more can you ask for? maybe you want him to go up more until you see him lose, i guess you can't pleased them all.
