Marquez lands 2 punches and is off and away. Pac misses with his 2 punches Great work.. Benny Ricardo: ''Pacquiao!! landing viciously there. Marquez can't handle the speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed of the Pac-Man!!!!'' Khan: ''The backhand is the key here Benny, Freddy always taught us about the backhand and Marquez is open to it. Me and Manny are best offensive fighters in world and Manny is looking good. Freddy just needs to focus Manny on the defense..''
Not sure what to make out of this. Not often you'd say no to your two favourite fighters squaring off, but Pac deserves better than perhaps a bull**** decision (again) and Marquez better than being robbed again. Pac should rematch Bradley, beat him and retire. Marquez should stay at 140 and teach a few young bucks a lesson, and retire in a couple of years. Not sure there needs to be a 4th episode. It's the best rivalry of the last ten years.... part IV might diminish it.
I'm not all that bothered about this fight anymore. Pac doesnt seem focussed on boxing anymore and Marquez is just chasing the money. I would prefer to see Marquez in with some of the guys at 135-140. Love to see him in with Matthysse or Broner
Khan: "That's right, Benny. Marquez knows Manny very well. I mean, don't get me wrong, Marquez is a great fighter, but we offered a fight to him two times and he didn't want it."
:rofl:rofl Didn't he say something like that in there last fight?. I can remember getting more and more pissed off by the commentary that night. I had Marquez winning by a country mile..
Khan had Marquez winning on the night, with almost everybody else, then changed his mind the next day. I hope he's not commentating on this one.
Lol I'm not sure, mate. I've only watched that fight the once. Although I do think I remember him saying something similar about Morales in the Morales-Maidana fight? Or the Morales-Garcia one.
JMM needs to tell them to **** off, he has to ko pac to win the fight and it's not going to happen. It must suck to be on the end of a decision like the last one. If pac was the nice perfect guy a lot on here think he is then he'd come out and openly admit he lost. As someone else stated, if pac won the fights then he wouldn't need to prove **** by having another match up.
Khan pissed me off that night "This is sad for me to watch because I saw how great Manny looked in training" "I have Marquez winning by 2, we offered a fight to him twice but he turned them down" "I would love to fight Marquez, we put a fight to him twice before but he turned it down" after Manny wins "Yeah, it was a great performance"
