If you check my post history, you would not accuse me of such a thing.

I am number one a Boxing fan, My two favourite boxers after that are Floyd and JMM.

You will see me defending Floyd all the time. I give him credit for the JMM fight, however it wasn't a career defining fight for him it was simply a good fight and gave him an opportunity to showcase his skills that all.

Consider that Floyd is coming out of retirement. That is a proven strategy to increase PPV. Remember when Tyson came out of semi retirement (went to prison)? He fought an absolute journeyman McNeely and that fight is one of the highest grossing PPV event in boxing.

Forget about *******s, even Leon, one of Floyds biggest defenders on here agrees that Pac JMM two at 144 will be challenging and produce fireworks.

Also read above, this is not a ******* started thread.

Yes but the history of Pac JMM makes it super relevant IMHO.

JMM is a blown-up lightweight while Floyd is fighting the number 2 guy in the division at the actual weight limit. How long can Manny stay p4p number 1 fighting hand-picked opponents?

    5. Mexican independance day.

But i must say that the Pac Marqeuz fight does interest me because of the history. I also want to see how Pac does as opposed to mayweather.

The only reason Floyd/Ortiz will outsell Pac/JMM is because their fight happens 2 months before Pac plus Golden Girl will market Ortiz as this young strong southpaw and is a champion who's capable of upsetting Floyd coming off a long layoff. The intrigue in this fight is if Ortiz's aggression and southpaw stance can trouble Floyd then they'll say Floyd has trouble with left-handed fighter when in reality this is just another glorified gym fight for Floyd. The *****s will definitely by this fight but the problem is, Ortiz can't really connect with the Mexican fan base. On the other hand, you know that Marquez has at least some following though not as big as Morales or Barrera. Pac/Marquez will hit 1 million for sure.

Marquez>Ortiz, no one denies this and there fore Pacquiao has the advantage. The question is how much of an advantage dose he have and how much dose he have to out sell Mayweather by to up his negeotioning position?

Pac/JMM is a terrible fight. JMM was beaten by John and outclassed by Mayweather. How is this fight exciting?

I think it will definately up his negotiating position because Pac JMM III will outsell Floyd JMM and outsell Floyd Ortiz.

In other words Pac will finally outdo Floyd in a common and most recent opponent.
