    how can u say that manny picked like oscar did. r u kidding me?? if u look at all his fights he went up little by little til' he got to ww. div by div he fought and conquered and moved up. how is that timing?? dont even compare him to oscar in regards to cherry picking. oscar was notorious for that til' he had to fight mandatory fights, which were the hard fights. thats prob true about oscar and floyd, but not manny at all! he has never dodged or timed anything. did u expect him to go from featherweight to welter weight just lik that?? no. he went up little by little til' beat em' one by one. :-(

    Duran?:rofl

    So... Duran who as he moved up in weight LOST all of his biggest fights against the best fighters that he fought... is much greater than Pac, who moved up and absolutely destroyed the best fighters that he fought? Yeah... great logic. Duran is probably the most overrated fighter in history. He ruled over a very weak lightweight division and began losing regularly as soon as he stepped up the competition in higher weights that were natural for him at the time.

    :lol::lol::good:good.

    i just noticed that so called boxing experts historians have a prejudice for past fighters.

    it is unjustified. I started watchign boxing in the 80's and while i admit there were some tough fighters, i noticed that pseudo experts here who flaunt their so called historical knowledge automatically shoot down any modern fighter like pac.

    pac vs. duran? who knows how it could have turned out. also, why is it that duran gets so much love around here to merit as high as top 5 atg.

    if that is the case, why is leonard placed lower when he has a much better resume?

    and last i checked, did srl lose to duran?? and didnt he come back to beat him, heans, and hagler?? and didnt ali lose to frazier and come back to beat him?? please stop making making excuses 4 cotto and hatton losing 1 fight and not being able to rebound from it. manny was simply the superior fighter. :bbb

    Mayweather beat DLH, Hatton & Marquez as well

    your telling me beating an old berrera and even older berrera twice and going 1-2 with Morales makes you the greatest fighter of all time?:-(

    roberto duran fought in five different decades...over 100 times...only guy to go 15 with Marvin Hagler (one of the greatest mw's of all time) while Hagler was champion. Durans only been KOd twice. Once by Tommy Hearns, who by many is considered to be one of the hardest middleweight punchers in history, and once when he was like 40- something years old.

    archie moorer, one of the greatest light heavywegihts of all time. started his career as a LIGHTWEIGHT. Most KO's in history of boxing.

    stop blowing so much fire under mannys ass cause hes as great as he is today. yes, hes very good. yes hes great, but p4p best EVER? chill. up there, but not the best ever.
