Decent victory but Vargas wasn't any top boxer either.

He may be #1 WW, but certainly not P4P #1

Good win for Manny, he had good stamina for all 12 rounds.

I think I underestimated Vargas a bit. He was a live dog in there and gave a very good performance.

Still, this doesn't catapult Manny to the top of the P4P list. Vargas is an up and comer at WW and not one of the big players in the division.

Vargas defeats 99% of the welters out there. That's for sure. He would probably make Floyd his ***** on the account of last night's performance.

I'm from the UK and wouldn't regard myself as a fan of either, I like watching Pacquiao sometimes and enjoyed moments watching Mayweather, they are both great fighters and both have achieved great things.

I don't involved in the relentless back and forth between the two sets of fans, it gets petty and more often than not it is just ridiculous.

I said I like both of them, I've enjoyed watching them both over the years.

I'm British, I have no skin in the game so to speak. I am not 10 years old, I can like both fighters, I don't have to pick a side :risas3:

So much comedy in the thread title alone.

I wouldn't call it a destruction. A convincing victory from Pacquiao who still has a lot of his speed, but we're not going to see the same prolific output (tripling up etc.) that we've seen in the past. Vargas got tired but fought very well (champion level) for the first 6 rounds.
