They can be influenced by media just like everyone else in the world... Wasn't Steward just quoted saying Pac is one of the best ever an ATG then came back later stating they've been handpicking his opponents? Trainers and boxers are capable of being incorrect as well.

I said I could be very wrong but I don't see it, not it can't happen. He will use clinches, movement, try to fight on the inside and whatever else he can to disrupt Pac's momentum. Pac does move well.. He also gets frustrated when his opponent does.

To me it seems like mayweather threw in the whole bloodtesting saga as he knew about pac not feeling good about giving blood leading up to a fight

Put yourself in pac shoes, You have the mayflowers slandering your name for no reason, then they want to make you take blood test. And take it upto the day of the fight

It was a road block. There really isn't any reason to even keep thinking about it. We've heard from team Mayweather that Floyd beats Pac, with or without PED's.. So wouldn't they want to fight the same fantastic fighter we've been seeing. so Pac looks his best using his PED's shouldn't matter. When a fighter wants to fight someone he makes concessions so that it happens. By Pac agreeing to ANY extra outside type of testing other than what the state boxing commission demands, he has already taken a step towards Mayweather.. And this happened in the first round of negotiations..

He requested additional testing. And he's a professional boxer... Question is who is anyone in this board to question a professional boxer requesting BETTER drug testing?

I'll start this off by saying I think Manny is clean. Yet, if he has legacy in mind, why would he turn down something like a drug test. He's heralded for his amazing physical feats. What Manny does is seen as superhuman, by some. So, why would he give any sort of skeptics fuel to criticize him? I don't think it's about ego. If Floyd didn't want the fight, why would he ask for drug tests? That's not usually something an athlete is going to back out of. Unless Floyd somehow knew Manny would turn it down, I don't see how that is a way for him to try and get out of the fight.

It makes you wonder why Floyd would request such a test. I, for one, won't criticize any fighters desire to protect themselves. Manny seems like a great guy and I don't see him as the cheating type, but there's no definitive proof that he's clean. There's no definitive proof that he's dirty, but that still doesn't prove that he's clean. If Floyd took the fight, got beat up, and had some sort of neurological damage from the beating he took; if Manny turned out to be on PEDs, I'm sure all the people criticizing him for asking for a test would feel like total ass-holes.

There's two ways you can look at this debacle:

1. Floyd shouldn't be asking for this test.

2. If Manny is clean, he should take the test.

Either way, it's too sides to an argument. Almost like a political debate between Liberals and Conservatives. Both sides hold valid arguments, yet both are entirely different.

I, however, don't buy the ego bit that Roach is selling. I don't think this has ANYTHING to do with ego. In fact, my own personal opinion about the way this thing is turning out, is that they're just trying to build this fight up. Spill in a little controversy, let it boil, and you have yourselves a great super fight. It's marketing 101. You have one play the bad guy (the Mayweathers) and one play the good guy (Pacquiao). People eat these kind of scenarios up. Also, this isn't the first fight to be postponed for so long on an issue like this. They'll resolve and fight and it will be bigger than ever. People talk about how this fight can't get bigger or they're losing the luster about it, but when it's all signed and done, you can bet they'll be buying the fight. I don't think this fight can get any smaller. I don't think Floyd actually cares too much about the drug testing and I don't think Manny cares too much about the drug testing. They will fight.

 

scenario I think Floyd wants.. Pac tests, Floyd beats him convincingly. Floyd can now say he beat the other fighter regarded as best OR he can say Pac ain't **** without PEDS and that's the only reason he was seen as equal or better than Mayweather. Floyd would love those options... Or just maybe he actually thinks he's on some ****.

 

1. Pac DOES need Mayweather, he aint cracking no top 10 list without beating Mayweather & if cracking the top 10 of all time isnt setting a legacy then I dont know what is.

2. Yes, Pac SHOULD do whatever it takes to make the fight & try make FMJ suffer in the ring, its the fans that are suffering more than anyone.

3. The same goes for Mayweather, he DOES need a win over Pacquiao to erase any ????s that he can beat a prime ATG as his skills suggest he can... & he should do whatever it takes to make this fight, neither man has showed me the sort of ambition required to be a true immortal of boxing, if 1 of those guys REALLY wanted this fight, it would be done by now, its sad really.

You question the professional boxer known for not taking on fights that he should, the boxer who is putting up additional road blocks then suspiciously disappears when promoters are looking for him to make a fight.
You dont have to be a profesional boxer to know that there is NO FACTUAL evidence in regards to pac juicing. Therefore
7 days is enough

 

People questions Floyd's MOTIVATION for the tests. How is that now clear by now?

The FACT that Floyd tried to use a blantant and obvious lie like "cleaning up the sport" as some form of legitimate reason just shows he just pulled that outta his ass.

 

The FACT is that Floyd said he is cleaning up the sport. Everything else in your post is just your opinion.
