    I hope Cotto comes in at 147, no excuses possible if he does.

    im just reporting what is being said...here is another article about bets for cotto being less and less as news comes out that he is having problems making the weight:At the Vergara Trading on Aglipay Street in Mandaluyong, the proprietor named Brin said a well-to-do trader who had dared them to bet against Cotto did not show up to formalize the wager.

    Out in the Mandaluyong wet market, those who initially showed interest in placing a few bucks on the WBO welterweight champion from Puerto Rico either disappeared or just kept mum.

    “Walang ganda kung lampa ang kalaban (It would be tasteless if the opponent is lame),” explained tall Tommy Diaz, who quietly lords it over a newsstand at the old loading point known as Gabby’s.

    * * *

    Pacquiao himself sounded a little uneasy when he commented on how Cotto has obviously mismanaged his poundage.

    Pacquiao told Filipino mediamen at the Wild Card Gym that rapid reducing is bound to tell heavily on Cotto (“Malaking epekto talaga ‘pag hindi ka kumakain.”)

    If Cotto, despite training well ahead of Pacquiao, indeed reports dried and half-empty for the fight, he could ultimately end up no better than a wet sack.

    Or he could sail and flail, a piece of soggy laundry lost in the wind, at the height of Pacquiao’s stormy offensive.

    Reporting what? Opinions of people outside of Cotto and his camp about HIS weight? Yeah they know better right? They have no clue.

    So if some guy posts a youtube video posting obvious stuff like "Cotto MIGHT have trouble with the weight", this is new to you and it means Cotto is struggling, lol. Kk.

    Dude, stop going to boxrec and copy pasting Duran's resume and thinking that makes you an expert on boxing. It's no secret a fighter can be weight drained, don't act like people don't understand it. Just don't assume he'll be weight drained and act like people who don't assume like you, have minimal boxing knowledge. Get a clue. Trust me they get it.

    And don't act like Pinoys are the only Pac fans. :-(

    please folks tell me tell why he is an atg...barrera was washed up,morales was washed up and lost to zahir raheem when he fought pac a second time....marquez imo won both fights anyone with a blind eye couldve saw that...david diaz was a c-class fringe champ...oscar was well past his prime....hatton maybe the only one here but he got the poster of the decade after floyd took his 0 and confidence and threw it into the turnbuckle and he hatton beat a washed up tyszu which is his only claim to fame....who has pac beaten that merit him an atg...barrera wasnt prime likewise morales...marquez he lost twice in my eyes...

    u say barrera but barrera was already on the downside of his career similar to cotto is...morales likewise...so those two get thrown out the window...similar to how corrales and castillo fought they were never the same...thats what barrera and morlaes were...to say that he beat thses guys in there prime is bull****.....u saw what a prime morales could do but he was already in so many wars he was finished the second thru with pac...u name all those indo fighters but we are talking about stateside..

    Barrera wasn't close to washed up. Morales was past it but still capable, he lost to Raheem based on styles, He would have probably lost to him earlier in his career. He wasn't shot, you've never seen the fight don't act like you have, you are just regurgitating what you see others post. Shot fighters don't fight with the tenacity he fought Manny with. He was shot in the third fight.

    Marquez of course won both fights cause it suits your argument :lol:. Even if he did, Pac made both fights extremely close and deserves merit. Oscar was well past it, yes. Hatton wasn't, and he easily beat him. He's an ATG, do you even know what an ATG is? He doesn't have to be next to Robinson to be considered one :-(.
