Terrible? Thats a bad excuse. Ok Mayweather vs De la hoya was being way more hype then De la hoya vs Pacquiao Hatton vs Pacquiao was consider an even fight but Mayweather vs Hatton was consider an easy win for Floyd Cause Hatton is moving up in weight but yet Mayweather vs Hatton did way better ppv buys then Pacquiao vs Hatton. Pacquiao vs Diaz was clearly a mismatch but few gave Diaz a chance cause they feel he was the stronger fighter and Pacquiao was moving up in weight while Mayweather vs Baldimor was consider by everyone an easy win for Floyd but yet Mayweather vs Baldimor did way better ppv buys then Pacquiaio vs Diaz. ^^^^ Again this proofs Mayweather is a better ppv draw then Pacquiao rather *******s likes it or not.
You are so obsssed with the comparisons of the previous PPV buys between Pac and Mayweather. While the figures are indeed given, yet you fail to anlyze or simply ignore what could have possibly ignite those PPV buys. 1. Pac/Morales - Morales is already mainstream. Pac is beginning to carve out a name that time, yet their trilogy produced a record in the lower weight division. 2. Pac/Diaz vs. Mayweather/Baldomir - It takes two to tango. Of course, Baldmir should sell more being more mainstream than David Diaz. He is on a roll winning against most popular fighters in Judah and Gatti. It should be the case. But duh, 325K? Only? You call that astounding? 3.Floyd did outsell Pac against DLH and Hatton. But when you dont consider the economy that turns around 70% negatively worldwide, you are blinded by your love of Floyd(and the number he brings, if really he is the draw). Same could be said against Hatton, yet the difference is small. All you Floyd defender pray and hope that Floyd/JMM tops the reported 500K PPV buys of Pac/JMM2, otherwise, be ready with your excuses. Sometimes, its better to anlayze things on public perceptions rather than by mere comparison of numbers. It gives you more solid propositions.
No, he knows Floyd would never agree to 50-50 because his ego is too big. And that's not a put down that's the truth.
So by offering floyd 50-50 is not him admitting that Pac's drawing power is not as much as its made out to be?
1. What was the ppv buys for Pacquiao vs Morales? 2. When did i say Mayweather vs Baldimor 325k is astounding? And how Baldimor should sell more mainstream if nobody gave him a chance vs Mayweather? If i recall Diaz before facing Pacquiaio, he barely got by a shot Morales who is way more popular then Judah and is just as popular maybe more then Gatti. 3. Man talk about excuses, theres one right there and it's a bad excuse. The bottomline is Mayweather vs De la hoya, Hatton did way better ppv buys then Pacquiao vs De la hoya, Hatton.
It's obvious to everyone, besides delusional Floyd and his myopic zealots, that Pac is "the man" right now. As for the split, however, it probably should be 60/40 to Pac but 50/50 is the only realistic option here.
1. Read the news. Use google. 1,050,000M. But thats beside the point. 2. Astounding is my expression, because you consistenly bring the figure to justify your claim. And you must be kidding if your trying to tell me at the time of the fight that Baldomir is less mainstream than Diaz:verysad 3. Excuses? Do you now what is a Global FINANCIAL CRISIS? One question for you. If fight happens lets say next month. Who will sell more? Pac/JMM3 or Mayweather/JMM?
