PAC is #1. Pac has been #2 P4P spot almost the entire time Mayweather was #1. That's a long time... JMM is a great fighter but he's been fighting in the lower weight classes/ same weight class for a long time whilst Pac started even lower and moved up further. Also, the way he moved up in weights, his accomplishments, and in the short time period he accomplished this is what sets him apart. If you fail to see that because you think he's been fighting patsies then I'm not gonna even bother..... Some of you need to do research and stop bringing up garbage; espeically "JMM should've won" crap... It was a close fight and we have judges for a reason and if you didn't like their decision then that's too bad.....He is without a doubt setting boxing history. Here's one proof...

And why the eff would Sugar Leonard, Lennox Lewis, Winky Wright, Roberto Duran, Hearns, Foreman, Tyson, Hatton, De La Hoya, the boxing consensus, etc. acknowledge his #1 status?. Cause he is legit.

Never said he was not legit, but he's not P4P #1. Sounds like you think he should be numero uno no matter what level of competition he has fought.:dead

no worries mate... just for the other peeps... and nah I'm just a fan of boxing not a pachugger. JMM #2 is quite fitting for him... but I dislike the notion that Hatton keeps saying that he will take the P4P title from Manny.... Did Tarver become P4P when he beat P4P Roy Jones Jr? No

I All Deepends on What condition hatton is In???

Pac will turn up 110% Fit as usual he is a true professional!!!!!

The True Winner of This Fight will be the Fans....Finally getting a Good PPV
It Will Be a Fast Paced good Fight even if it doesn't last long?????

I am a Hatton and Pac Fan so Im Neutral Who Wins???
With a Slight Favor for Hatton.

Whoever Sticks to there Game Plan will Win .......

My Gut Tells Me Hatton Will Win by KO or TKO !!!!!!!!:bbb

Pac is the better boxer and more skilled however
He Will not be able to keep hatton off him ....IF Hattons chin stands up
to pacs straight left which i think it will
Pac will have to fight the perfect fight and it will be a long night against hatton.
Hatton will have to watch the cuts and cut pacs movement off

Pacquiao's Downfall will be he likes to rumble and fights with his heart
And he can't do that with the Bigger Man
Pac will box and move BUT if hatton attacks him pac will try to trade with him which he has done in all of his fights

He is a True Warrior and never gets on his bike .....This will suit hatton as all ricky can do is Rough manny up!!!!

Hatton as usual will come out STRONG in the first 5/6 Rounds
Pacs only chance is the late rounds when ricky starts to tire
but its gonna be a Long Night for Manny.

My prediction is HATTON .....By Mid/Late Stoppage OR

    UD by Workrate!!!!!!!!!!!:bbb

Hatton Will Go on to Face mayweather in a Massive Payday Retirement Fight!!!!!

Pacquiao will gain MASSIVE RESPECT for fighting to the death with hatton
And will still fight on a being boxings star :thumbsup

floyd already ruined hatton and laid out the blue print to beat him. I'm a fan of pac too and i expect him to beat hatton under 10 rounds:good

RUINED? How was Hatton RUINED by Floyd? And no, just beating a guy doesn't mean a blueprint was made.

well after that fight, he didnt look good and actually look **** against lazcano and despite the win against malignaggi he didn't really knock him out in that fight but malignaggi's corner stop it. I can't say he totally ruined hatton or so but let me rephrase that he took a lot from hatton and we could see that in his last two recent fights.

Well, i think roach is working out on the movements floyd did to beat hatton. Not saying pac would do to hatton what floyd did but what pac has is the speed in the same page as floyd. And we will see that speed again when he fights hatton.

Not KOing Paulie shouldn't be uses as a reason. Cotto couldn't and he beat the f*ck outta Paulie.

You also need to take into consideration Hatton's style and in between fight habits. Those are just as big a factors into a fighters demise as a beating. And lets be honest, Floyd won, but it wasn't like he beat the **** outta him.

Pac won't be using ANYTHING Floyd did. He has his style, one that is effective and getting more fine tuned under Roach. It would be a mistake to try and alter a fighter's style at this stage. Especially if it's been working. Speed is speed...not a blueprint or style.

Well that is a good point about Pac getting caught up in Hatton's type of fight. If Pac can maintain his game plan which is obviously to stay off the ropes and fight in the middle of the ring where he can use his speed to his advantage he'll be fine. I don't believe Ricky is gonna "box" one bit. I think as soon as he gets tagged he will be very physical and try to use his strength and size. I thought Pac got caught up going back to his old ways against JMM to a degree back before he added better movement and made the right hand effective but Hatton is no counter-puncher like JMM. It's gonna be a great fight though. I've got Pac by stoppage though.
