good fight but i give arguello the edge, arguello was a brutal body puncher and in this way he would stop pacquiao as pacquiao has no proven to me at least that he can really take punishment to the body

 

pacquiao is not in arguello's league of greatness. for one, arguello never cherry picked his opponents like pacquiao's team has. secondly, arguello was too tall and talented and would have really put a beating on the smaller but game pacquiao. a prime arguello by KO in the later rounds.

 

Alexis would survive some scary moments in the early rounds, get his timing down, and then just beat the bloody **** out of Pac.

No way the 130 lb version of Pacman survives Arguello, anyone that says otherwise hasnt seen enough of Arguello at 130.

 

I agree Arguello would school Pacquaio at 130. Just too good and too long.

If your definition of cherry picking is constantly moving up in weight to take on the best (exception of David Diaz) and putting yourself in position to win a 7th title in 7 weight divsions, then **** yeah he's a cherry picker!

Any opponent he chooses now can be argued as cherry picking, too old, shot, weight drained, not the same after last fight, ate bad cheese....excuses are so easy to make after a fight is done, but now they're already being made before the fight in anticipation of a Pac win, just to discredit him in advance, because getting owned time and time again teaches you to do that.

I like Arguello a lot. I'd say he's a taller version of the younger Rafael Marquez brother.

He'd beat Manny and I'm a huge pac fan. No shame losing to a great legend.

 

STFU pacfuc, why not be happy that Manny has reached such a high level that he is being honoured by being put against the ATGs instead of having a seizure everytime his name is mentioned.

at least you agreed arguello would knock the snot out of pacquiao. you see, arguello was a true warrior who only fought the very best IN THEIR PRIME! he didn't have time to **** around with fighting these hopeless opponents just to pad his record. his record is what it is, while pacquiao's record is very suspect considering all the old, tired and washed up fighters he faced.

oh and by the way, pacquiao has NOT won 6 world titles. again, the RING magazine title is an award. it is not a real world title. just some magazine's ranking. so again, pacquiao has won 4 world titles which is still pretty impressive. after he gets his little ass handed to him by cotto then maybe you *******s will finally come back to your senses and quit worshipping your god, pacquiao the catfish! :good
