The fights happened instead of the others for some reasons and I don't blame him for that and Ring magazine has the sole authority to say who are the greatest fighters and we boxing fans can't do nothing about it. We can complain but we don't have the authority. Now Oscar...
The rannkings excluded guys like langford, johnson, walcott, wilde and fitszimmons because they fought before ring magazine was created. Also that list was done 8 years ago, pac already won belts in more weight class, beat more hall of famers and will likely fight in another 3-5 years. He's greater than pea.
Sweet Pea wouldn't have Pacquiao hurt at any moment in the fight, but he'd probably box his way to a semi-close UD.
I know where you're coming from bro. Strangely, pancho villa, the guy who beat wilde is there. Of course the fight happened in 1924 and wilde was already shot by then. I'm not going to talk about pac because I may be bias, I will let you and others do the talking about his being top 10 ATG fighter. BTW, Pernell has defeated two fighters who are now HOF'ers, they are Nelson and Ramirez.
here we go, the mother****er with absolutely no offense wins and oh sure Ali wasnt that good either? **** this forum!
... and there's always the "you don't know **** about boxing" when he responds to somebody who disagrees with him.
pac has never beaten a slick fighter really, so its hard to say how he would deal with a great defense, so you have to lean toward the an establish great like whitaker.
