I heard that he had intense foot pain and had an MRI done.

I am looking for an article.

Confirmed it his foot has swelling and his doctor says it is a minor injury. Turns out he pulled a muscle and Roach said this type of injury is common for Manny.

He got his foot caught in a poodle trap.

Heavy users of anabolic steroids start with that kind of injury.

Yes those are the problems Brady Anderson had before he retired. I heard that it happens because the muscles get stronger faster than ligaments do.

A pulled muscle is actually more of an indication that he's not using steroids. Sprained ligaments and strained tendons would be the suspicious injuries you're looking for.

Correct, but this causes ligament sprains, not muscle tears (aka pulled muscles). Obviously stronger muscles will be less susceptible to tearing.
