He arguably lost to JMM twice.
He lost to El Terrible at the end of his career and then beat him twice.
He beat MAB and then a faded version of MAB, but couldn't get close to hurting him.
He beat ODLH, who was absolutely a shell of a fighter.

i'll tell you one thing he didnt do....

he didnt post avatars of naked women on a boxing forum and then judge people who were 10 times the man he was.....

if you don't know why pacman should be possibly THE most respected fighter in recent time then people aren't going to take you seriously.

I swear to God people on ESB get dumber by the minute.

If you're angry at Pacman then get mad at man for being greedy, dont question his legacy when its already been proven how great he is.

And besides any real boxing fan will tell you Pacman has accomplished more in this sport than Hatton by far and its not even close.

So let's get this straight, the Morales that Pacquiao beat wasn't prime, but let me guess, Tszyu WAS when Hatton beat him, right? Gotta' love that unbiased judgement from Hatton's fans. You say Pacquiao arguably lost both fights vs Marquez but could the other side of the coin is that Manny "arguably" won both as well. That's why people still argue over both fights, almost a year after the last and close to 5 after the first. If that first round of the first fight is scored properly, all Manny had to do was win 2 more rounds to secure a draw. He did more than that on my card. Both fights were very close however, and the one knockdown in the rematch was the deciding factor in Pacquiao edging it out for me. That's as close as it gets. People also forget that Barrera was widely considered a top 3 p4p fighter when Manny moved up in weight to destroy him. To top it all off, all of the anti-Pac brigade seems to have convinced themselves that the ONLY reason Oscar looked like **** in that fight was because Manny was wearing his out from the onset and maximizing his advantages by out speeding him and constantly turning him. People are taking all the credit away from Pacquiao just to save face and not have to admit they were wrong for calling anyone who thought Pacquiao stood a chance against Oscar a ******. People on this board LOVE to talk ****, yet hate to eat crow.

is that the same honesty that attributes pacman with beating the 3 modern day mexican legends that no-one else has done?

you know what pisses me off the most is when people say things like "no-one wanted to fight calzaghe, he's an undefeated world champion..."

and then i read posts like this about a fighter who actually left his homeland and became somebody on the world stage because he believed in himself and nobody can cry about him not getting big fights because he had the balls to make it happen.

you can't have it both ways and it's lame when people raise questions about pacman because he didn't have a clean sheet at the end of it.

what do you think makes a fighter great?

i know this isn't a thread meant to compare to calzaghe but the comparison fits because anyone who questions pacman's form or achievements is downplaying what an achievement it is for him to be where he is now after the fights he's taken.

LOL at a Hatton fan talking about resumes.. now THAT's funny..

Since we're on the subject of bull**** resumes.. WTF has Hatton done? He has made more of a career beating aging fighters than Pac!

Tszyu, Castillo, Maussa, Lazcano were all washed up when Hatton fought them.

Against an aging Tszyu, Hatton still needed a referee in his back pocket to win that hugging contest :deal What else has Hatton done? Look like a **** against an over the hill Lazcano? A win over waaaaay over the hill Jose Luis Castillo?

Malignaggi? Feather fist who didn't even throw punches. Urango? Club fighter.

The rest are complete bums. So uhhh what the hell has Hatton done? Please remind me. Oh yeah. He's the reigning champ of the weakest division in boxing. Check.

Ran from Junior Witter all his career. Check.

Got a gift against Collazo. Check.

Knocked out by a ringpost? Check.

    All praise Ricky Hatton

    hatton doesn't deserve that.

tszyu, lazcano, urango and castillo is a damn good resume - and he had the balls to leave warren and take this route to get the floyd fight.

witter was always a hometown fighter whining about a britsh fighter not wanting to fight him but he never made the moves hatton did and its his own fault he never got the pulling power hatton did.
