Pac-Man's hype far greater than actual resume!

couldn't agree more with the TS. from the outside pacquiao's resume looks nice and shiny but when dissecting it anybody can see the TS is absolutely right. not saying pacquiao isn't a good fighter but not as great as all the hype suggests. there is a big reason why pacquiao fought morales thrice because after their second fight pacquiao knew he could beat morales again. why wouldn't he give marquez a third fight? because he knew he was very lucky to get a very unpopular decision over marquez in their rematch. bob arum isn't dumb, he's the master of hype. look what he did to de la hoya's career! he made oscar bigger than life where in fact oscar lost most of his big fights. arum knew that fighting marquez again might be risking the plan he had for pacquiao to collect meaningless belts. arum has artificially made pacquiao bigger and greater than he is. now people can understand why all the cherry picking comes from.

 

I agree with most of what your saying But I dont agree that he cherry picked this fight with Cotto, and I dont beleive Cotto is damaged goods, he is mentally not as sharp as he has been previous to the Margarito fight but lets face reality he did just beat Clottey he has won his fights since comming back off of that loss.

Cotto more than likely will beat Pac to a Bloody pulp based on the recent match making for Pacquiao I dont see anything recently that shows me Manny is ready for a fighter like Cotto.

Keep an eye out for Pacquiao to wear a full body protector for this fight, That cup will be up to his chest come fight night. Cottos people better keep an eye out for that.
Also with 8 ounce gloves Manny can and will do Damage but so will Cotto who has yet to be hit by anybody north of 130 who can bang this is his first outting and I beleive that is going to make all the difference in the fight, once Manny starts getting tagged about the 5th or 6th round it will be a different Manny Pacquiao.
