Is it just me or this is an ideal date for the fight. -floyd will be in jail for 90 days june-aug -gets out sept and train for 2 months or so -better venue -there will be no excuses for both sides -pac came from a bad fight it would be good to give him a tune up *bradley -may should fight guerrero or canelo -cut will not be an issue by november -more time to promote the fight
No. There is not enough reason why it shouldn't happen this may. There should be no reason at all that this fight won't happen in may. If the fight still does not get made when everything seems easy, then it won't be happening at any other time. Arum simply won't have it done. Stop hoping. We are all being bs'd by arum and floyd would probably pick another low risk high reward boring ass fight. pac ends up with an easy fight too.
no you're an idiot. Floyd will go to jail in June and get out in August at the earliest. That means there's even less time to promote the fight if they fought in November. Pacquiao and Arum ducked plain and simple
I actually wouldn't put it past Peterson to focus on targeting the cut more than on winning (since he'd have little enough chance of doing so against Pac anyway), a kamikaze mission just to stick it to Amir by ****ing over his buddy. The enmity between those two is that bad. :yep
February through the beginning of May isn't enough time to promote the fight, but September through maybe mid November is? This temporary stadium garbage is just that. If Pac won't fight Mayweather now, I doubt he will in November(unless he's convinced jail had slowed Mayweather down enough)
So if it's late November he has 10 weeks plus whatever fitness he does in jail. I think a rest would do wonders for Floyd without the entourage hanging around.
Arum mentioned November and Floyd's bud said it wouldn't happen in May because you can't rush a fight like this.
do you guys believe that he'll spend 90 days in jail? with lots of money anything is possible i think. He can start the early part of his training in jail..
Mayweather doesn't need more than an eight week camp to beat Pacquiao. Hell, he could make do with a fortnight. He keeps himself in tip-top on the regular anyway, and he's always sharp on the big night regardless of rust and external factors. It isn't like he's going to be moping on a cot in his cell wolfing down cheese doodles.
