No it's not "ideal" and mark my words it's not going to happen in November. At that point they are both another fight older, Floyd will have been out what 2 months? There is no "better venue" than the MGM Grand and even if (they won't but if) they fight in November I gaurantee it won't be in some bootleg temporary stadium in the middle of the ****ing desert. "Both sides" didn't have excuses, one side made as many excuses as possible and again walked from the fight. Cut isn't an issue right now, per Manny himself, and Freddie Roach. The God Damn fight doesn't need any promotion, at this point it's over promoted and a chunck of people don't give a **** anymore. This is a horrible idea in every way, shape, form, and fashion.

That's exactly what he might be doing. The food isn't exactly great in prison and he would only be afford an hour of exercise a day. It's only a 60-90 stretch, so he should be ok regardless as long as he stays focused.

Mayweather’s corner man Nate Jones, a longtime friend since their amateur days dating back to 1994, also feels that May 5th would be pushing the envelope a little too fast for such a huge event.

“There’s a slim possibility it’s going to be Pacquiao,” Jones told me shortly after news of Mayweather’s delay hit. “I don’t think Pacquiao’s going to agree to everything on the table yet. But if he does it’s a possibility. I just think Floyd wants a little bit more time to get ready. We’ll probably need more time. Get everything done with the business and start training for the fight. We’d like a little more space in between. Aint no rush to fight a big fight like that.”

This is probably true, but we all know that Arum and team Pacquiao are probably bluffing again when they say that they want to make the fight in November anyway.

De La Hoya said : "Bob Arum will never let the fight happen.Ever!!"

who cares what Nate has to say. He's just giving his opinion, and he has absolutely nothing to do with negotiations. He said Floyd was going to fight last July.

    "
Mayweather’s corner man Nate Jones, a longtime friend since their amateur days dating back to 1994". Yeah, what could he possibly know from speaking to Floyd on an almost daily basis.

Jones had been corresponding with Mayweather, as is often the case with the two friends, and points out that Floyd seemed ready to go through with his impending time behind bars.
“We was talking back and forth all this week,” Jones finished up. “Just real short. He was saying ‘This time is going to happen. I’m going to do what I gotta do Nate’. I asked if he needed me to talk to him but he said he’d be ok.”

Ok Nate says HE THINKS Floyd doesn't want to fight Pac in May.

Floyd says and begs to fight Pac in May everyday and demands Arum to make the fight.

Your conclusion: Floyd doesn't want to fight Pac in May.

If this is your logic, then I don't see this conversation going much farther

Floyd is posturing. I may be wrong but he was telling Koncz just weeks before he wouldn't even negotiate unless Pac dropped the law suit first.

Nate has no reason to posture.

“I don’t think Pacquiao’s going to agree to everything on the table yet." They haven't even begun to negotiate. Just like Pac had a deadline in the last round, now Floyd has one. He has to get this one on paper soon to make sure it goes off on May 5.

So, is this a matter where if Pac doesn't agree to all of Mayweather's terms he is ducking? Seriously? I think both are willing to wait one more fight.

I think he's saying keep the 5/5 date and use it to squeeze in Guerrero or Canelo before jail.

Mayweather will not have enough time to train or promote the fight if its in November. This **** just wont happen. It was May 5th or never.
