Manny cant really do shyt because Bob Arum has to be involved in the process of this fight. If Manny flies to Floyd, what can he legally offer? He has no contract or any real procedures to make a fight actually happen without the help/consent of Top Rank. And in the end, people will ignore the complexity of this issue and just say "they're ducking each other".

 

Pac will ask Floyd how he got away from Arum and once he can do that, Floyd will fight him. Floyd clearly won't say yes at this point with Arum involved. Do I like it? No, but it is clear as day. He was willing the first round of negotiations, but it seems impossible now.

 

Arum seems content to use other fighters names to keep his fighter relevant or to promote his fighter, with out actually fighting them.

He Knows Oscar and Floyd have no interest in putting money his pocket after he short changed them, then insulted them when they got tired of his **** and left toprank.
