I doesn't matter if ticketbrokers bought the tickets (it does suck for the real fans who want some), the money is still paid and is a profit for the promoter/fighter.

LOL at the butt hurt fans hating on boxing being successful in the mainstream. Pac is great for boxing and this match up is not all that bad.

Btw, Mayweather-Mosley was not a sell out thought it had a huge gate. It will be interesting to hear what kind of gate they got for this fight.

    1. Golden Boy said 16,000 tickets were sold first day for Mayweather-Mosley and the paid attendance ended up only 15,000.

    2. Even at a sell-out, due to the price points, Pac-Mosley can only do a live gate of around 8 million, 3 million less than May-Mosley

Its the exact same thing I had in mind, so why type the similar words, when its easier to copy and paste.

Either way, the bottom last paragraph was mine, not copied, and its true that Arum buys the tickets up front then re-sells them or gives them away.

He did that for the Pac-Clottey, Pac-David Diaz, Pac-Margarito, and now he's doing it again for the Pac-Mosley ("Battle of the Juicers").

Not to mention you can pretty much buy any ticket you want on ticket master.. Go figure. The vendors buy up the ringside seats but all of the $1000 dollar seats are still available. If I wanted I could buy 12. The tickets are not even as expensive as Mayweather Mosley.

Manny even in the US has 16,000 x more fans than PBF.
All roads lead to PACMAN avenue. Even in Floyd's backyard of Las Vegas. Now that is a resounding statement by the greatest fighter of the last decade.

Probably right about #2. But this Pac fight along with the Cotto one draw more people to Vegas overall...but both are successful so who cares really. Most big fights sell out in a few minutes because of ticketbrokers and this is a big fight despite 'our' protests. I know they had a problem with DLH-Pac tickets which they couldn't re-sell due to ridiculous pricing, but I don't see that happening here.

Nope. It's not gonna be on HBO. They will do a countdown sort of thing on CBS or some **** like that.

As expected, Pac Mosley is targeting the casual fans. Expect high numbers.

Can't we just all be happy that boxing is showing some signs of life after last week? Showtime picking up Pacquiao would/could be good for all of boxing. Urge or none, Peds or not!

The ppvs will be ok though. Wont beat 1.5 but may crack 900k which is second best. Which is suitable for the second best figher in the sport.
