I'm just an ordinary guy, so I only work one shift. Pac's not an ordinary guy. He just had his freaking 'best training camp ever' (says Pac, Roach, Ariza, Arum) against Mosley. oh noes distractions. Or are you doubting Pac in that regard? (Because I sure ain't)

What else can you call me? A *****, an idiot, a ******, a coward, what else? You should call me black too, you missed that one. Anyways, that's cool. You've proved alot about what I'm up against in this thread. Cheers. :bbb

There's one hell of a potential flaw in your analysis, namely that if the causal fan just forked over $60 to a fight they felt was close to worthless in terms of entertainment value, good luck trying to get them to to so again. The hardcore fans will likely do so, but my guess is that they only comprise about 40-50% of this figure and it's not going to be easy to bridge the gap in terms of getting more casual fans to pay for this PPV given the last one.

It was a **** fight, that generated money because Pac (just like many before him) got in the ring with Delahoya. I am not buying another Pac fight unless he fights Bradley/Markez AT 140!, or Mayweather at any weight he Pac feels like, or Sergio at no lower than 150.

Floyd I won't buy unless he fights Pac.

I predicted to be about 1.3 million and over and said if it does 1 million it will be a dissapointment. I guess I was right:D, it was only right for this fight to do over 1.3 million, now the sad part im afraid it didnt help in any way to gain new fans with excpetion of the Vasquez/Arce fight. These prices keep on getting higher and higher.

i love manny and it was a **** fight. majority of the blame goes to shame but pac and his matchmakers have to take some of the responsibility for the **** fight.

Floyd Mayweather has been in more boring fights than Pac and his fights still sell. The Mosley fiasco is the first time in 10 years that a Pac fight has been boring.

No, showtime has less subscribers than HBO. HBO has 30mil, showtime has 19mil I think.

The key thing here is they were gonna show fight camp 360 to CBS. The average 24/7 at HBO does 500k viewers. The fight camp 360 at CBS, because of time scheduling (hard enough time finding out when the next ep was on searching for it) averaged about 1.2mil viewers which is extremely low. Also I dont think 360 is as intriguing as 24/7 to the casual fan.

So they got double the viewers for the show but how many of those translates into buys, dont know.

Also if you wanna use that excuse:
PBF-Mosley was the most expensive fight to promote in boxing history.
    PBF-Mosley was a competitive match.

And this could do about the same numbers...

I would rather watch Tim Bradley-Manny Pacquiao.

I don't even think our family is going to have a get together considering the last fights we've watched in Vegas (Clottey and Mosley) have been absolute stinkers.

Well considering there's a fair number of people on this thread saying they're not going to be watching Pac's next fight unless it's with Mayweather, I still think my point stands. PPV's are going to drop for the next Pac fight, bet on it.
