the thread starter is allowed to have an opinion on the fight if no one objected to fights think of the **** match ups we'd be stuck with, like elite atg's in their prime fighting 40 year old men who havent won a fight since the beginning of 2009
You guys expect every match you see to be a historic, earth shaking, career defining fight. Every single fight. Boxing don't always work that way. Sometimes, in between real career defining fights, there are tune ups, stay busy fights and some less than perfect match ups. As long as the fighters make it exciting and entertaining, it's alright. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
No, it's not a joke. This is a joke: A filipino guy and a black guy walk into a bar. The bartender looks at the filipino guy and says "stay the **** away from my dog you little yellow chump" and then he looks at the black guy and says "I'd never disrespect my father the way you did, and your suit is off the rack."
It is just that Pac just comes of a destruction of veterans like Clottey and Maragarito. Ok, we now know that he can destroy these phsyically strong veteran fighters, where is the intrigue? It was now time to take on more challenging fights against quality fighters who are in their prime. After allow we are talking about the best pound for pound boxer in the world, who himself is in his prime.
?? Insisting on the meaning of words like that , am I writing a legal text or what, you dumb idiot? You can also say "farce" or whatever....
Isn't Bradley supposed to fight Khan first? I thought they were eyeing Bradley-Pac once Bradley's contract with show expires and he can come to the dark side of Bob Arum. That leaves Berto. I don't know if Berto poses any more danger to Pacquiao than Mosley.
Im very dissapointed that mosley got the pacfight because its a lose -lose situation Truth is that beside mayweather there is nobody that can really challange pac, only guys I could think of are williams and martinez, but both of those fights are very unlikely to happen. Lets look at the opponents that were possible, assuming all were at 147. marquez: the weight would probabaly affect him and allthough he was the most deserving he has a very long shot of beating pac at 147. I think this happens in november. Berto: guy who needs to step up and a beltholder, perfect guy to fight. Yet he would have a bigger chance than marquez but I dont know about mosley. Mosley: dont deserves this fight at all, yet has probably the biggest chance out of the 3 even if its a punchers chance. I leave bradley out of it since he has unfinished business with khan he needs to take care off first. What would have been logical is this: pac fights marquez now at 140. then in november fights bradley if he beats khan, if not then fight berto vs mosley winner. Now its a lose-lose situation where even if pac wins via stoppage he will get discredited.
if berto beats ortiz then for all I care he can go finally defend his belt vs selcuk aydin and then get the pac fight in 2012.
