    suprisingly poor fight. i was really hoping for pac vs martinez - wbc 154 and 160 belts or something big like that.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Not a big fan of Pacquiao these days by any means but his opponents had actually been ranked quite highly at welterweight in the last couple of years, unlike Haye who fought a guy who had 1 fight against a journeyman in 18 months (admittedly a mandatory defence) and the absolute laughing stock which was the Harrison fight.

    Just goes to show how good Pacquiao has become when fights with Clottey and Margarito (catchweight aside) are seen by some as joke fights. I'd be extremely disappointed if he does fight Mosley though.

    To be fair clottey threw about as much punches as harrison and was basically a walking guard and haye is the naturally smaller man like pac but he actually lets his opponents weigh in at heavyweight and not some silly catchweight.

    Im not saying Pac opponents are as bad as hayes have been but manny get far to much credit for what he has done over the last year

    It'll be sad to see Mosely get a severe beating just for the payday. Marquez would definitely be a better fight

    Fair enough, can't say I disagree with any of that. Especially the catchweight bollocks, one of the main reasons why I've gone from having Pacquiao as my favourite fighter to hoping that he gets sparked against Mosley.

    Who cares what a **** fight, I know that I wont watch it and I don't even want to read about all the fake hype on this fight because Mosley is not worthy. :-(

    Fight is official. It is at 147, not 148. Pac's WBO title on the line.

    Sad thing is, Shane is done. He's made for Pac too (straight on, hands down) and can't pull the trigger anymore (plus Pac has a top-notch chin and Shane is a headhunter primarily)

    Pac KO within the first few rounds. The fact Floyd could buzz Shane/back him up clearly shows Mosleys punch resistance is waning. I see Pac leading him onto a big shot and taking him out quickly.

    Absolute bull**** fight. JMM at 140 would be preferable (The Ring 135 champ vs The Ring 140 champ) but even 144 as Pac can obviously make it.

    Better for Shane @ 147 mind, never been impressed with him at 154, though he gave a more spirited performance in the 2nd Winky fight (I never rated Vargas like some did)

    I agree, however Pac already made the mistake of underestimating how past it/shot JMMwas. He knew he was lucky to get away with a draw after the 1st fight imo and he left it 4 years for the rematch to make sure JMM was too old to compete then when Pac was gifted the decision (imo anyway) im sure he had no intention of ever stepping into a ring with JMM again but now that the fans are questioning his win over JMM he might have to take a 3rd to save face but as long as JMM is coming off a good victory where he looked good (ala Katsidis) theres no wayu team Pac will go anywhere near him.

    Im pretty sure JMM will age eventually and once he recieves a 'L' against a mediocre opponent (or has a bad performance) you can be sure Pac will make the 3rd fight happen.
