People dont get that Manny was a rising PPV star when he moved up to welter. Floyd became established when he fought DLH , so he's had a head start. Pacquiao is now the top star in boxing. His future PPV numbers will prove it. The Mosley fight is proof in itself. 11-1 underdog, and 1.2 + million ??? It speaks for itself. Pacquiao is the new Tyson. People pay to see him fight, it doesn't matter who it is, bc he's exciting. Floyd has to hype his bouts into something that they aren't in order to sell, he's gotta play the 'villian.' Pacquiao doesn't need to hustle to get his money. He's getting paid big anytime he steps in the ring.

Like casual fans give a **** about odds.
They were promised a good fight, where they would both trade.
    Fight was a disappointment.
Pacquiao wont do over 1mil again unless its with Floyd.

Pac - Clottey was a disappointment. Pac did 1.2 mill in his next fight.

ALL of Floyd's fights are disapointments. Pac - Mosley makes Floyd PPV's look like watching golf.

This is a complete and utter FAIL. :patsch Now matter how you try to spin it...

    1.4 > 1.2

Against common opponents, Floyd has done higher numbers. It cannot be disputed.

...Working way too hard to discredit Floyd. Give credit where it is due, and keep it moving. 1.2 is excellent, and it may turn out higher than that. As it stands though, Floyd did better against the same guy. Deal with it.

Floyd did better against the same guy who was a 3-1 underdog, coming off a win (it was called "WHO U PICKING?) Pacquiao did just a little bit less (and numbers arent even in yet) against the same guy who was at least a 7-1 underdog and coming off a loss and a draw. Deal with that. Pacquiao is the top draw in boxing and his future numbers will prove it.

Floyd is the top draw, same people better numbers. It's not hard to understand, pac is more liked floyd is more hated. But floyd has some fans and many haters which equals more buys. You donn't have to be a *** about it, numbers don't lie. Floyd could fight Cotto right now and do better numbers than pac did, does that make him better, no just a bigger draw

The only reason you are overanalyzing this, by bringing in the odds and what not, is because you cannot disprove the obvious. Floyd draws more against common opponents. It has been proven, on three occassions now. Give it up. Floyd wins in this dept. until proven otherwise. You are still talking about Manny's FUTURE PPV's like he is a young fighter. He is nearing the end of his career.

You want to talk about odds? What are the odds that if you had put Floyd and Shane on CBS/Showtime with promotion during the final four, etc., with access to that many more millions of viewers, they would do even more than 1.4 million? Let me answer that...the odds are very high they would've done well over 1.4 million . Floyd may not be as exciting inside the ring (in the opinions of some fans), but, he knows how to build INTEREST and create INTRIGUE.

Also, it doesn't help that Manny fights these same fighters AFTER Floyd has already beaten them. Pac will still make great money. Floyd will just make better money, against the same guy...FIRST.
