Pac Moving Down To 140, Is That To Protect His Whiskers?

I remember there was a poster named Lady Girl who was a huge Pac fan and now I saw a few posts from this account that were anti pacquiao so I guess its a different person. Didn't notice lol.

I think it has more to do with maximizing his time as a boxer in the twilight of his career. For years he's been up against men much larger than himself but at this stage he's a little slower.......reflexes just a little less cat-like.
Shedding weight and fight men his own size will benefit Manny more being in his mid to late 30's.

 

Even some of the guys at 140 are larger than him. 140 is the right move for his overall health.

 

Everyone knows Pac's whiskers have always been questionable. He's going down there to fight the feather fisted light welterweights. Even Ray Charles could see that.

 

No it's because Top Rank has run out of relevant welters. A related thought is probably that he can regain some of his drawing power by scoring more KOs at a lower weight.
