Floyd doesn't have any options. Floyd's only option is fight Pac or retire again.

 

The reality, as unforunate as it may seem for many boxing fans, is that Margarito is probably a bigger draw than anyone you've listed and it has everything to do with his scandle. IMO, I don't see Floyd out selling a Pac-Margarito fight no matter who he elects to face next.

You seem to fail to realize that Mosley was the B side to the Cotto fight. Cotto was chosen instead of Mosley as an opponent because of his draw. Mayweather took the B side opponent and CRUSHED Pac with the A side opponent. He beat the PPV and the gate numbers. The fact is that Mayweather makes the fight. The prospect of beating him galvanizes support behind whoever his opponent is.

The same can't be said for Pac who has drawn less with the same opponents in fights that were arguably more "exciting" and "casual fan friendly" on paper, JMM, ODLH, Hatton. Mayweather is in the driver's seat.

Random is actually 18 days before the fight like in the Mosley-Mayweather fight!

USADA had 4 weeks to do test for the fight but they did the test only up to 2 1/2 weeks before the fight. Why all of a sudden the USADA became Lazy in doing the tests?

The Margarito scandal took place after he fought Cotto and Mosley. Since then his noteriety amongst casual fans has significantly increased thus his prior attraction status is no longer a relevant gauge for his current drawing power.

And I don't know where your getting the idea that FMJ and "the B-side opponent" "crushed" Pac and his "A-side opponent". May-Mosley did 1.4m to the 1.25m Pac-Cotto did (1.35m including P.R.); and that was with lesser promotion.
