No, it doesn't. Because his position is made clear. Whether you disagree with them. Pac made his demands on coming in over the limit, and Floyd wants to "clean up the sport of boxing."

If Pac wants to say no to proving he's clean then no fight, right? Great :good

If he does I'll be pissed.

50-50 and 14 days is respectable.

Relax, I'm just kidding. I'm sure you wouldn't be able to pronounce my last name, most can't.

Anyway, I think Floyd had a last second deal of 18 days on the Pac fight and it was rejected by team Pac. Or is this just a figment of my imagination? When that happened, that looked bad.

I think Boom Boom said it best. If Pac team starts asking for more than 14 days it just looks bad. I usually disagree with him too, but I think he's on point with that.

Floyd won't budge. And blood-testing is forward step for the sport. Logically speaking, Pac needs to take the test. The question comes down to days. Asking for more than 14 days is too much. Frankly, it looks bad.

Pacquiao has to take the tests. He has to decide.

They are harmless. Even a cheater like Shane Mosley took them.

There are only two reasons of why Pacman would not take the tests:

    a) He knows the test results will be bad for him.

    b) He fears Mayweather and doesn't want to fight him, and refuses the tests because of that.

How the **** is it Manny's fault? How many other fighters did Floyd want to take this type of test before Pacquiao came around as a serious threat? Floyd's a great, great fighter, but to hide behind a ridiculous test is crazy.

Floyd is not boxing. He shouldn't dictate any rules. Shane only followed his grimy rules because he is in dire need of a payday.

Manny Pacquiao does not need Floyd Mayweather. If I was Manny, I would NEVER bow down to a man like that, and he won't.

Pacquiao could retire today, make a serious run at Congress, be the national treasure that he his, and that's that.

Floyd will retire to his low class record company and blow his all his money and follow in his family's footsteps, a world class jerk off.

In closing, I find it funny as **** that Floyd and his sorry ass team are stressing on Pacquiao every chance they get, while Pacquiao is sitting in the Philippines not giving two shits about it.

read the sentence, it said: "poised to win" = is expected to win. So it means that Pac hasn't win the election yet.

no worries. well the final offer where 14 days for team floyd and 24 days for team pac. i have no idea of the 18 days offered by team floyd but i can see that it would be a good offer at the start of a new negotiations. make it 19 days so that it would be right through the middle.

then again, the PPV result of this fight would be a new obstacle. if this fight makes more than 1.5M PPV, floyd would probabaly demand more than a 50-50 sharing and we don't know if team pac would accept a lower sharing. well, i just hope that this fight is made even if one of them would give in or they compromised in the middle.

Pac's eventually going to have to take the test for PR reasons, regardless of boxing ones, unless he's planning on retiring soon.

Outside the hardcore boxing fan community, where it's considered a "debate", his reputation is getting raped the longer this remains an issue, and it'll keep remaining an issue until he agrees to it.

I don't think the fight will happen. I don't think Pac will take the tests.

What? They both have clear positions. You're taking Mayweather's side if you think the burden is on Pacquiao to comply with Mayweather's demands more than it is on Mayweather to drop his demands.

I do think that if Pac asks for 18-19 days again it will look bad. Especially if my memory serves me correct about Floyd having that as a final offer.

I'm not interesting in a moral or righteous debate on the issue. I've been there, it's been talked about.

At this juncture, we can't say Floyd never asked of his opponents to do blood tests. There's a record for it, and he will continue doing this for future opponents. Any future opponent, and he has made that clear. If Pac wants the fight and cares about the fans, logically that's the step that needs to happen for this fight to be made.

If you honestly think Floyd would give up his demands now you're crazy. The burdern is on Pac to comply because Floyd his drawn his line in the sand, and there's a record for blood-taking tests now.

Hopefully Nevada just complies to make blood-testing a part of the testing... at least for this fight.

Plus, I think it would look bad on Pac's part. Blood-testing is a step forward for boxing and sports. A good step-forward if efficient and practical. Manny should take the test.
