Which de la hoya have you been watching? Oscar always wanted to trade with the best, which fight name one oscar has stayed on the back foot for the majority of the fight scared to trade, not including end rounds of trinidad

No disrespect to the Hitman, but sometimes discretion is the better part of valor.

Seriously, it's sad that you can't have a seruious well informed boxing conversation these days, because some kid will jump in and make a ****** comment like that Mag dude, or Pac is P4P#1 ALL TIME, or PBF would have schooled SRR. :patsch

The DLH that Manny fought was as close to prime as the JCC that fought Tszyu.

The 140 DLH would have beaten "PAC of the Hatton fight" easier than Morales did!

Mid to late-round TKO for DLH!

So true. I would add that DLH was so unhealthy for the Pac fight, to have to rehydrate with I.V.!

Also, DLH was alot faster, more explosive, and perhaps stronger than Pac at 135 and 140.

Very, very tough to call this one.

Oscar's jab and handspeed would give Pac problems.

Ultimately, Pac's superior speed and movement would carry him to a close decision win in a fast, furious and fantastic fight.

    Absolutely!

And not to mention the longer reach and excellent jab DLH had then.

Pac is great without a doubt but Prime for prime DLH takes it!

pac. straighter shots and faster than even the fast DLH in his prime. also the styles and the southpaw stance would be pac's advantage.

I voted Oscar but after Saturday I'm not sure. Oscar was very fast and skilled but his stamina would be the only issue.

When did he trade? With Quartey neither he nor Ike tried to do anything until the Ike was hurt. Oscar was a counterpuncher who was fast. He was not hit much in his career to be honest. Pac hit him clean more in one fight than anyone ever did. That bodyshot by Hopkins stopped Oscar. One punch.
