I was shocked with his offense last night

He supposed to knock MAB out in 6 (that was average prediction).
PAC was more experienced with much bigger punching arsenal than in the first fight.
MAB was 4 years older and not in his prime anymore as in the first fight.
So it supposed to be blow out ... and what happened?

MAB was controling the fight clearly, however his workrate was **** he
was not able to steal the rounds with faster and more active PAC.

But PAC was not able to hurt MAB in any point during the fight
and he was hurt himself at least two times ... lightly however.

    Conclusions and questions:
    Is PAC power degrading?
Is he aging and clearly slopping over the hill?

Cant do it at 130 anymore...This kid has to lose 4 punds at hours before the weigh in. Then be bloated at 144 the next day. You dont need Bill Phillips to tell you that this is going to **** your body up.

Theres a reason that after the bell ring, evryone in PACS camps yelling 135 next!!

nah. mab simply didn't want to mix it up w/ pac and risk being ko'd. but pac did have difficulty making 130 at the weigh-in.

If his natural weight is 144lb then maybe he supposed to try
.... Floyd (natural 147 lb) in the fight of the century?

I would root for PAC in this fight, not now however but
if he move up to 135 and beat one or two beltholders then why not?

Brother Chert, I think Pac didnt look great either...there has been plenty of fighters wary of PAC and wants to box but Pac chases them down..I was very surprised that he didnt let it all out in the 12th. He wasnt the same, He had to lose 4 pds at the weigh in this is a very serious problem

Lets go 135 first and we have the Diazes there, Casa, Guzman, Valero and if Soto and JMM wants some money then they can follow

Supposed to knock out MAB in 6 was the 1st problem ..

2nd MAB just took Manny's left away as his primary weapon ..I agree his work rate was **** but its not like Manny did anything diffrent ..The diffrence was MAB stragedy thats it ..If anything Manny made some improvements but this fight did force him to think..Not every opponent becomes the pavement for Manny to steam roll through ..It was a tactical fight at least MAB tried to make it that ..Manny was able to maintain his aggression even though Mab was able to fluster him through the fight ..

He was clearly drained, he added 14 pounds overnight! I havent added 14 pounds in years let alone overnight. He will better at lightweight where he wont have to starve himself. Also MAB is an ATG i dunno why people hate on him, in my eyes hes coming off a win against JMM so hes still got alot left in him. I bet if MAB wanted to go up to lightweight and get a title he could.

For me its a 50/50 fight, i mean i think that Collazo breaking his hand didnt do Mosley justice in terms of where he's really at at this point in his career. Mosleys fighting a live fighter in Cotto who is very very hungry. Cotto can fight but will Mosley overwhelm him with punches and speed? Will Mosley capitalize on Cotto holes? Can Cotto cut off the ring as beautifully as he did against Judah? Is Judah a good measuring stick to where Cotto is really at? I mean those are the questions that im asking myself. As of right now, im not sure. I will make up my mind closer to the fight. I gotta see some training camp videos, i mean they will both be in excellent shape as both are gyms rats but i need to get some reinforce as to who i think will win.

I know my answers a cop-out, i hope itll be a draw, cause both can beat Gayweather, and i know Gayweather will be happy not to fight one of these guys. I know hes going for Mosley so he can get the older version of Mosley and wont have to fight Cotto.

    You?

yep. having to lose 4 pds at the actual day of the weigh-in was a big concern before the fight. it was quite a relief that pac was able to overcome it but it surely had an effect on his performance.

Isn't PAC struggling with weight from a long time... or that just a recent problem?

Well the more time that passes the more of a problem its becoming...Hell be fine at 135, but i really believe that by the time Pac is fighting his last fight itll be at Welter.
