it's ok if the #1 P4P boxer is in your weight class. nothing to be proud of beating anyone 2 or more weight class below you whether he is the best boxer in the world or not.

stop defending this fight except for the fact that Pacman will get his biggest payday for this fight.

I'm just too happy for Pac to accomplish many things unimaginable when he was fighting in 108.

On weigh-in, they will be on same weight class (or weight range). they agreed on a 147 lbs catch weight, PAC going up and Hoya going down.

It's a crime if a fight is not on same weight class (or weight range) and should not be sanctioned...

the catch weight is 147lbs yet Pac will meet that weight even by having full meals the whole week before the fight and eating bananas right before the weigh-in. DLH on the other hand will be on strict diet 2 months before the fight and no more food intakes the night before weigh-in just to make the 147lbs. See the difference?

if they agree on a certain catch weight then it's the problem of respective boxers and trainers how to meet that agreed catch weight. i don't care how they will fulfill the weight requirements as long as they will both weigh on acceptable limits during weigh-in.

i've seen fights given a no go or canceled because one boxer can't meet the required weight during weigh-in.

Even if Oscar did not own ring mag, Pac would be a likely candidate to be on the front page.

He's currently the no.1 P4P boxer so its no big surprise that he's on the cover. And dela Hoya hyping his possible fight with Manny probably didn't hurt Pac's chances of making the cover.
