Because Floyd made Pac's Daddy look like a C Level club fighter after a 2 year layoff. If this fight happens, there will be silence and blank faces all over the Philippines

 

Floyd wants PAc, and PAc wants Floyd. PAc's people have taken the attitude of "if Floyd doesn't agree to this, we won't fight him" before any negotiations have even started. You can see why people are skeptical of this fight being made. Roach and Arum have 'no vision' of this fight when they prematurely talk like they don't need Floyd just to stick it to Floyd(like they really can) rather than care what the fans want...

 

Because PBF is a stylistic nightmare for him and will tool him if they fight.:deal

 

You guys get too wrapped up in the politics of the sport. The money is gonna be ridiculous. Odds are heavily in favor of them fighting.

You honestly think Arum wouldnt lick his chops at the chance of getting 1 last huge payday against PBF? Possibly as big or bigger than Pac's last 2 fights with DLH & Hatton combined?

Pac wants the fight.
PBF wants the fight.
Arum wants the fight.

That leaves Roach, I think Roach wants the fight too because if hes getting 10%, that is a lot of money. More than that, Roach does have genuine confidence in Pac and Im sure he wants to see if he and Pac can pull off the biggest trick in boxing, beating Mayweather.

 

none of you need to worry. this fight will definitely happen because its the biggest money fight to be made. money dictates everything.

 

Pac beat JMM in a narrow decision. PBF beat ODLH in a narrow decision. I think Pac's destruction of DLH was more impressive than PBF schooling of JMM.

Both fighters obviously werent the same ones they fought but you forgot to mention that anyways.

 

That remains to be see,and again why should he be careful about that,hes not undefeated and hes not obsessed with losing his 0 like some fighters.

yeah but he is on a roll, he represents an entire country. and he is being compared to alot of great fighters in the past. some of the comparisons are ridiculous but that just on opinion. so both guys have something to lose.
