Some articles had emerged that the Pac-Mayweather fight might happen on September 2010 because of conflicting schedules. Said articles also mentioned that both are planning tune-up fights with Mayweather taking on Matthew Hatton and Pac would take Yuri Foreman.

Comparing the two, it seems that Pac has the bigger challenge because Yuri is really a 154 pounder albeit inexperience. But the same thing could be said of Matthew Hatton. Matthew had fought a fighter who fought Mayweather in lovemore n'dou (coinceidentally fought Phillip N'dou, a one time Floyd dance partner).

I do not have issues if Pac takes on Foreman as a tune-up because at least he gains his 8th world title (although people will say it is a cheap way to gain the 8th title but remember SRL earned his title in more dubious circumstance). However, fighting Matthew does not do anything in terms of Money's legacy except financial gain.

Now, if both are unacceptable, who do you think should these two fight not named Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, Berto (this is a tune-up fight guys and if Guzman was allowed to fight T-rex Davis for title defense, I think these guys are entitled to easy tune-ups as well.

I don't think Pacquiao should fight any more "tune-up" quality opponents. In his own and Roach's words he is good for just two more fights, should he use up his time left with a tuneup?

As for Floyd, who the **** cares? He's been fighting tuneups since stepping foot at welter.

im sorry but to hell with a 'tune up'

There is a plathora of interesting fights out there for eather fighter.... if they arent going to make the fight against eachother now, im not interested in wasted time, which is all these BS tune ups would be if they are not against a top 10 opponent.

That being said.... Pac vs Foreman would not be a tune up, and Foreman has potential to really make Pac look bad in two weightclasses above the actual weightclass he should be at in the first place, and slow down momentum for this fight..... for WHAT?

because two guys cant agree on a date? the hell?

If they arent going to make the biggest fight in recent history, then move on to other more deserving fighters then these would be tune ups, to make more interesting matchups, then these 'waste time' fights. If pac and mayweather both win against the next challenge.... well then move on to the superfight.

This is getting pretty pathetic and sad.... makes boxing look damn stupid too.

Pac vs. Foreman is a tune-up with an added bonus, the 8th title.

I'd like to see Pac fight Timothy Bradley or Joan Guzman in the Philippines.

Pacman wants to be a dog on Congressman, so I don't think May is ideal. How about a tune up eight weeks after the election? Perhaps fight someone with longer reach and durable such as the WW IBF champ, Isaac Hlatshwayo, or just fight JMM again. What do you think?

As far as Floyd goes, he needs to fight Joshua Clottey, now that would be a tough tune up. Clottey is durable and will be good on FMW's resume.

**** tuneup fights. There is no need both fighters were impressive in their last fight. Just make the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight happen.

:goodeither one is not an easy tune up, but that would be great for him to adjust to Floyd's speed and style. Either one would give Pacman the challenge and the experience how to fight Floyd. Guzman has the same style as FMW, and he would be a great sparring partner as well.

    Floyd vs Khan.

Khan looks ready...see how he's dodging Roach's mitts.

I agree with you, but we have to wait for some time due to the Philippine election. I want the two to just make this dog on fight sometime around Aug or Sep. Ironically, "May" the best man win. LOL
