With it looking increasingly likely that Pac v Clottey will go head to head with Floyd v Somebody on march 13 (March 13 for us downunder) it will be interesting to see which fight Main Event chooses to broadcast (I note there is no UFC scheduled for this day).

I suppose it will come down to who has sold more PPVs in the past. Who do you all think will get the nod?

If I had to bet I'd put money on Pacquiao winning this one.

What could be interesting though is the chance for SKY and Main Event to go head to head on this.

Depends on Floyd's opponent. Clottey v Pac will be a good tough fight to watch. No one wants to see Floyd humiliate Mathew Hatton.

I'd prefer to see the masterclass that is Floyd but for sheer excitement and drawing numbers to the clubs, Manny wins easily.

Floyd may give up that date and fight later on...possibly the Mosley/Berto winner.

if margarito still fights under the paquiao card,it doesnt matter who mayweather fights, paquiao will destroy ppv's.

Apparently he is going to fight on March 13..

Richard Schaefer is on record today stating that
Floyd will announce a big name opponent in the
    next few days.

Hopefully it is Paul Williams, some are of the view that
because Schaefer manages both fighters - that he wont
want to burn his bridges and would keep them clear of each
other, but Williams clearly wants the fight and if Floyd does
fight on March 13, he will need to at least convince the public
that its a tough fight - as alot of ppl buy Floyd fights in hope
    that he will lose.

Nothing short of Paul Williams will be enough, Tim Bradley possibly
being the exception - but its unlikely that Floyd would take on
a fighter like Bradley - who isnt considered a big PPV name yet.

I said this in the main forum's 'Floyd vs Shane' thread... Floyd will never fight Shane I dont believe. Shane is the best chance at Floyd at Welter if you ask me. Toooooo strong.

I it is Paul Williams then it is a big ask for him to come down from 160 lbs (his most recent fight with Martinez) to 147 lbs in less than 2 months. Huge ask!

Schaefer doesn't manage them, Al Haymon does.

    They wont fight each other.
