Either Pac was overtrained or he's just past his prime, he looked slower, sloppeir, and he's accuracy was off. I saw so many countering opportunities for Shane it was crazy, but I truly think Pac overtrained that was C class Pac that night, if Marquez was in their he would of won a UD and Floyd an wide UD. I beleive fighters deserve one off night and this was Pacs no big deal. That **** the shane was saying at the end was just a way to shy away from his age, u got beat by a Pac on his C game, hang it up!!!
Its the legs. Bernstein and Tarver commented on Pac's movement around round 4 that he's fighting straight and almost no lateral movement. After the fight Pac said his legs were really tight that he has a problem moving. He has this problem during the Marquez fight and i think it's the real reason why Pac's performance is below par...
I think it was overtraining too. EVeryone was talkign baout how great the camp was but Manny might have pushed himself too hard. He seemed totally off tonight . Might have peaked too early in camp , could have been nerves too , who knows. You said it right, that was a c level PAcquiao. The one from a two or 3 fights ago would have taken out shane before the 6th round.
You're close but no cigar. Marquez knows how to move side to side. Mosley did that tonight instead of going at him like Arum bums. Why are there so many excuses now. Mosley was an old man, waay pas his prime and a supposedly ATG is making excuses. Pathetic.
time for pac to hang it up.. he looked like sh*t. mayweather would do the same. get on his bike and counter all day. Its a lot of chasing for the pacman to do. I don't think he's had to cut off the ring in all his fights than tonight. I think it had a lot to do with the chasing, but I think its all downhill for Pac from here on end. Retire and call it a day.
everyone has a off night, the real proof will be in his next fight, but winning that wide on the score cards and having an off night, either shane is way past it or Pac is just that great.
First time I've seen a boxer shut someone out, even after taking a bs kd call, and be called exposed **** because of it. Inconceivable.
Manny didn't want to fight Neither did Shane. For different reasons though. Shane didn't want to fight because he was too scared of being embarrassed. Manny didn't want to fight because he knew he would win. Letting Shane pop him with a serious punch, would've been something he couldnt live down and wasn't interested until Shane " Knocked him down "
maybe it's time for pac to hang it up... he has lost his "killer" instinct. he has become too friendly and concerned/merciful to his opponents. pac probably asked mosley if he was OK after he KD'd him in the 3rd. pac's settling for decisions now and not going for thre KO. he's more of a politician/entertainer now rather than still being an all-out fighter. that happens when you enter politics. you always try to be friendly and to please everyone. but maybe he'll have a different attitude vs. mayweather due to all his PED accusations.... and the pacman of old, the destroyer, will come back.
Shane is past it and he was too cautious. I don't think Pac is past it, but when is the last time he had to chase someone all night?
