Well, I would'nt want to be left out on the trend.

Then why not match Pac on a fantasy fight with a former welterweight king and a mexican to boot.

To be honest, Pipino's not that big. And he's not that great a boxer either. If Pipino lands one hook, fight over. But I feel it being another paint job by Pac. Probably a decision win as only a guy the caliber of Thomas Hearns stopped him on his prime and ruined him thereafter.

I'd be amazed if Pac could stand up the the Pipino left hook.

The point is to not stand up against it but evade it.

Cuevas has the punch that will eventually land.

In his prime (pre-Hearns), he loved to fight....just like Pacman.

    Cuevas in 9 rds.

    You're right!!!

Even when he fought Hearns....he came an inch of whizzing a left hook
across his jaw...and the look on Hearns face....he knew if that would have
landed it would have been lights out. ( Cuevas even tore a punching bag
off its chain from the ceiling with a left hook during the final training phase).

He fought boxers like Randy Shields ( tall ) and beat him on decision.
Roger Stafford towards the end of Pepino's career beat him on a decision because he ran the whole night , however Cuevas did land some body blows when he momentarily had him on the ropes and Roger commented
afterwards that Cuevas hits like a mule kicks.

I would give the win to Cuevas....a solid hook and Manny would not know
what hit him until he read it in the paper.

This would be a tough fight for Pacman stylewise. Cueves would be right there throwing bombs. I would have to go with Cueves on style. He was a great fighter also. 10 defenses at 147 until he met up with Thomas Hearns.
