Manny sucks keeping his injury hidden like that. Enough to need a shot. What a fraud.

This marqk has proven to be a re**** the rehab was always going to be 4-6 months

What they meant was it would take 9 months to 1 year for PAC TO BE BACK IN THE RING

Pacquiao's team hammed up and elaborated on their tale before the press conference.

There is a MASSIVE disconnect between the story as we know it today and the manner of the post-fight interview between Manny and Max. He blames his lack of volume on Mayweather being a moving target. He claims that Mayweather's demonstration of power in the opening round or two did not deter him and that his power is not comparable to Cotto's or Marg's.

Between that point and the press conference, something was cooked up. Look carefully at the full press conference and the bizarre looking private conversation (in plain sight) that Roach was having with Arum. Suddenly they propagated a story that was so hell-bent on proving a certain specific point (the shoulder injury) that Floyd was given almost no respect. It served to marginalise Mayweather's win and make excuses for their loss and it has damaged Pacquaio's character. It was the most shameless display of bad sportsmanship I can remember seeing in any sport I follow.

I follow many sports in depth, though boxing is definitely top 10.

Shameless. Shameless display of bad sportsmanship.

Excellent post here. Nothing would change in a rematch. A 100% shoudler doesn't make Pac's footwork any faster, it doesn't increase his reach, it doesn't add 10 lbs to his weight.

It's his shoulder and this is boxing. Do you know how ridiculous your comment looks. I personally believe Floyd will always beat Pacquiao, but come on, of course a 100% shoulder means a lot. that's like a footballer not having a 100% leg and saying it doesn't matter, of course it matters, he uses it to perform. I've boxed whilst injured, such as elbow when over extended, or shoulder when it gets strained and of course it matters, i'm bloody using it to box. Even your legs matters. When I had shinsplints, it hurt like hell, I still boxed, but it bloody hurt. If you're not 100% then you can't perform 100%, that goes mentally and physically.

There's always IFS and a rematch would erase all doubts as long as they are in good shape. Better than doing nothing imo.

Buying the fight again though? Ah.. arguable.

Rehab 4-6 months since his surgery was likely minor caused during the fight i.e. if he actually did have a surgery.

I see no reason for a rematch. If it did happen Floyd would just win again in an even more dominating fashion. It would serve no purpose as Pac team and fans would fabricate another excuse. That likely excuse would be that Mannys shoulder did not fully heal. Rinse and repeat post fight opinions from Pac fans. This is one that i would like to see rest. The better boxer won this fight end of story
