Greedy??? And this guy is supposed to be such a good Catholic? Prob Arum that is being the $$$ hungry *****...that makes more sense.
I agree, but I think he is just a victim of circumstance. When he was young he was fighting young fighters, but lately, he was fighting legends, older than him but he had to do it if you were him. All the fights he had, oral or written, both AGREED and the resulting alibis make the losing parties less of men and gladiators. That was really not his fault. I think fighting all his life makes his personality less than average, I`d just give em a break. Yeh I think he needs to have a vacation, bit confused, really, with other peeps pulling the strings. Maybe an outbreak of some sort. However, aside from PBF and Marg, his option for a younger fighter is valero, who attended his bday bash.
Now that the hype has died down alittle from the great DeLaHoya performance I think reality is setting in alittle and fighting Hatton at 140 doesn't seem such a forgone conclusion it did last month.
The church with billions of whatever currency you choose worth of assets that preaches charity and humility? Sounds like he fits in ok...
If the fight happens, I'll being rooting for the Hitman. Although I was very happy for Pac after he destroyed ODLH. BTW, I don't think Hatton can beat Pacman anyway.
Don't bring the churches purse into this. We're talking about Pacmans pocketbook here. Like to see how much he puts in the basket on Sundays?:think
The Vatican pulled out of a proposed challenge to Hitler because they weren't guaranteed 55% of the revenue iirc. Fortunately they had options on the fight that did happen and got paid either way...
I tended to agree when first picturing this fight straight after watching the DeLaHoya one but for a couple of years I always thought this could be a great fight for Hatton considering Manny is naturally the same size. I'd just be interested how Hatton would approach the fight,Mannys style doesn't really change but Hatton is alittle more unpredictable. It def would be harder for Manny to prepare than it would be for Hatton and the underdog with something to prove is always dangerous.
Hatton is very predictable. He charges in with his chin up, throws leaping left hooks, and holds. Hatton is fast and strong. However, he doesn't have many wrinkles to his game.
Yeh Hatton is dangerous with the head butt if you observed well. And if manny can avoid Hatton`s head he will win because boxing is about punching, not grappling. I have to go, am drunk, really.
pacman ain't scared. you can bet on that. it's just a matter of pride. the p4p no.1 has a say, like money pac has the option of picking he's next opponent. i guess boxing is really about money now a days.
