the more i think about it the more it seems the most plausible excuse

Exactly.. Roach seems more confident about it too. Pacman is worried because a loss puts him a few million and steps from a Mayweather fight. Even if Pac were to lose to Hatton, win a rematch and then fight Mayweather the Mayweather/Pac fight loses substance. I hope Hatton's backup really is fighting Floyd in Europe.

Pacman shouldn't have gotten into serious negotiations and brought Hatton and the boxing world into this ****. Dissapointing.

Well either he has suddenly decided he wants mayweather first or he blatantly doesnt fancy his chances against the fatman.

Personally I think there feeding us with a load of propaganda to hype the fight as much as they can, then Pac will sign on the dotted just in the nick of time. Come May 2nd Hitman wears him down & stops the so called P4P best in the ninth with a trademark rib breaker!!! I can hear the chants "Theres only one Ricky Hatton" Cant wait.

According to an article ive read, it seems Hattons camp has budge even more on that 52/48 split, Arum wont give out the exact figure but hes saying it looks good and he hopes to Have Pac sign the papers by tomorrow.

This fight would have always been made regardless. Pac just felt he finally deserved more, after all both him and Hatton would probably have gotten 50/50 before Pac fought Oscar, and after Pac demolished Oscar in front of millions worldwide after 90% said he couldnt, he just thought its time he got his due. Fair play.
