just put some crack in the middle of the ring in the middle of the fight. Roger and Floyd Sr. will jump into the ring. Ref looks over and sees that and think they are calling it a day. Pac by TKO... easy win.
Mosely said that Void is boring. Roach sees something, has has for a long time, that's why he wanted to get Void to fight Pac after the Hatton fight, he really tried.
I don't understand why so often you guys get obsessed with this "finesse" thing. Pure boxing is is not definitively better than any other style. Anyone with a grasp on boxing history should be able to appreciate that there are many effective styles apart from The Sweet Pea's of this world. To me, you gave away your agenda when you tried to trivialize PAC's win over Cotto with "built in conditions".
Mike Tyson had finesse. SRL had finesse. Hearns had finesse. SRR had finesse And so on and on............ Finess: throws every punch in the book correct and grade A defense. Case closed. You will have a rude awakening on fight night.
I assume based on the above that you would say that Duran had "finesse" as well Azumah Nelson? Henry Armstrong? Chavez?...and they probably did. But I'd like to know what you see as lacking in Manny to exclude him from this enigmatic " finesse" category?? I can only assume it's "Grade A defense", cause he's certainly got the "throws every punch in the book" thing covered. In fact he throws some punches that aren't in the book, as well. As for the "Grade A defense" - here's a news flash: You cannot be offensive and defensive at the time. If you are aggressive you raise the probability of being hit. So while I would agree that Tyson had great defense, it was not always on display while he was steamrolling fighters in the first round. Tyson got hit a lot, and so did every-bodies hero SRR - that is the going to happen when you are an ultra aggressive fighter. For such a fighter, I would suggest that Manny's defense is quite excellent; The punches he gets hit with he sees coming, rolls off and usually launches into a destructive counter attack. But yeah , like you said, We'll see come March.
Pacquiao's camp will sure find Mayweather's fight weaknesses. I doubt Money Floyd is too perfect not to make mistake on March 13th. I can't wait to see this fight. :bbb
True. Both guys are in for a test I feel but Pac`s mountain seems to be the steeper, Mayweather should win this, wont be easy tho I dont think but you never know in boxing.
