because he wants to run for governor. he said being governor is a 24/7 job, not like being a congressman where he has more time. He said he still wants the floyd fight, but, doesnt know if it will materialize.

Good riddance. This sport doesn't need anymore cheating, lying CongROIDSmen.

At least we now have an idea of how long Floyd's next vacation is gonna be.

Fighting the bigger guys will and may already have taken a toll on Pacquiao, one or two fights next year and then retire is probably a good idea.

But you're fine using the name of a college quarterback who's under NCAA investigation for doing just those. :verysad

Pac should retire before he fades unlike so many other boxers of the past. After Marquez if a fight with Floyd does not materialize, he should fight Khan, then Bradley, then retire. Talk sh*t for the rest of his life...

Floyd fight will happen at the end of one of their careers, Pac's IMO. I've stated this multiple times, and it could be the reason they are now saying they'll agree to whatever tests without issue. Pac is about to retire, Arum is about to cash out. My post history can show this, and I still believe it. I just didn't expect Pac to retire so soon, so I didn't expect the fight to come off soon... But it looks like he's agreeing, and retiring after next year.. Perfect for them to have a fight mid or late 2012, maybe a rematch, and Pac retiring.

This is a pretty smart decision done by pacquiao as he has been in the game for a good amount of time and he doesnt want to end up all washed up

He'd be what, 34 by 2013? 34 is when offensive fighters like DLH and Roy Jones Jr become super shot? If he retires I'd rather have him run for a full-time Governor position. That way he won't be a bum like Roy Jones Jr now, or even like Morales right now, super shot and fighting b-level competition for a bit of cash.
