The problem with FMJ vs winner of mosley/berto is, if FMJ loses, he not only loses his undefeated record, he loses a Big Pay day against pac man

Mayweather would either choose a weak opponent like paulie mallinaggi
or wont fight pac man at all and say pac man ducked him
or will fight pac very late in 2010,

Even if Pac wants to win a seat in May, a fight in late March or early April would be possible and if he is that confident in his victory, does he need any more marketing than winning the most important fight of tha last 20 years?

Let's be clear here. I love Pac, I will be rooting for him, but all this **** from Roach that "oh my God, if it's Mayweather we will need half a year to prepare" means in other words that we are afraid. As hell.

Go ahead, March, Pac-Mayweather. Nov14-March 13, that means 17 weeks in between. more than enough if you have to work for dozens of millions of dollars.

If Manny decides to not fight Floyd next, then it's ALL on Manny. Floyd is off the hook and only needs to fight Manny if he wants to.

Manny talks about how he fights for his fans.
I don't doubt that.
This time, however, it's not just HIS fans that want the fight.
It's Floyd's fans and hell, it's the public in general.

I can understand his politcal aspirations, but those can wait.
He really isn't going to make THAT big of a difference while he's still an active fighter.
How can he save / help his country when he isolates himself 12 weeks at a time to train for fights which fill his bank account.

Right now, Floyd owes Manny a fight in that he just took out someone considered his peer. The public has demanded Floyd fight him and Floyd said, "Public, I respect your wishes".

Either fight Floyd now or understand he doesn't owe anything in the future and that it's not 'ducking' if he doesn't want to drop you; it's his perogative.

 

Exactly and when they really need him hes moved on. If Pac fails in his elections he will NEED mayweather, but mayweather could be set with other fights by June 2010.
