Pac should go 48-52, but then insert a $2M per lb. overweight clause

lol i guess it would. but belts would not matter on this fight anyway. wbc would try squeezing some sanction fees, throw it if they will.

147 & 50-50. Weigh in on the day of the fight as well with a 157 lb limit.

Everybody get's tons of money, everybody get's the fight they want to see, everybody should be happy.

No reason for anyone to *****.

Why the hell are you people scared of Pac fighting Floyd at 147? Why insist on a catchweight? Pac don't need a catchweight. He is very capable of beating Floyd at 147.

Please stop with the catchweight thing.

It should be at 147lbs and a 50-50 split. That's it.

Pac could make 140 easily so it makes sense to cause problems for Floyed with a catchweight.

Thats ****ing stupid. 50/50 at 147. If Pac can beat the dog **** out of Cotto then he is big enough to fight at 147. I mean he has a ****ing belt at 147 now doesnt he.

But I do think that 50/50 is more than fair and Pac shouldnt have to take less than 50.

Pacquiao should get 52-48 or 50-50 split. Floyd should fight Pacquiao more than once, win or lose. This should be a trilogy. Boxing hasn't seen a good stylistic trilogy in a while. They can make shitloads of money off of it and make real boxing fans proud!

I think 147 is a fair weight because Pac has a ****ing 147 belt. If he wants to defend his welter weight title then fight at welterweight.

You might not think that way, but you can't be 100% sure.

    You think that

..... Well, let me tell you that many people think that 147 is fair and will give Pac more credit if he beats Floyd at his weight class.

However, I think the best way is same day weigh in and all the problems are solved.... Don't you think???

I don't think the weight will be an issue in this fight. Roach already stated he doesn't mind MP going in @ 147. MP said in his post fight comment that he's comfortable @ 147 and he's not going up anymore. I think the biggest issue here between the fighters is the money.

i think the issue here is for floyd. pac would normally get the credit because he is the naturally smaller man. yes pac will get an insane amount of credit if he beats floyd at 147 but i just want to shut floyd's critics including myself if he beats pac at a weight nearer to his natural fighting weight.

as for same day weigh-in, could it be that it is not legal in las vegas? yes it could actually solve the weight difference come fight night but i am not actually a fan. but if it was the norm before, it could be studied as an option. i just don't think a drastic change in rules would happen in a big fight such as this one.

as i said belt doesn't matter on this fight anyways. if they agreed on any weight it's fine with me. i just stated the weight which i think is a fair one for both.

The purpose of this post was to see what you would think since Mayweather refuses to back down from having the bigger pot, then Pacquiao should counter with that proposition to see what Mayweather would do. Give up the pounds but gain the money? Or give up the money and gain the pounds?

Ideally I want to see 50-50 at 147. But Mayweather will not back down from 50-50 until the media starts waning in attention. We will see.

I wasn't asking you if it was legal in vegas or not to have the same day weigh in.... I was asking you if you would prefer something like that....

Yes, the norm before was same day weigh in, and then changed in the 80s? before that is was something normal....

You said that you are not a fan of the same day weigh in..... can you tell me why???? I think a fight like this one could be the base to come back to same day weigh ins fights....

Same day weigh in = Fighting as close as you can of your weight class.... Isn't this what is the biggest worries of any Pac fan when it comes to Pac fighting Floyd at 147??????
