it's just that mayweather is being criticized for taking on a lightweight in jmm while pacquiao being questioned for fighting cotto at a catchweight.

though these criticisms may have well been taken into consideration even by some of the most credible boxing pundits, we also have to take into account that during those times, both pac and floyd's respective camp's decisions may have well been the right ones under the circumstances and the public are just being their natural selves.
