Yeah hes still fast but at his age the issue is he can no longer keep up the type of pace he could when he was younger and thats why hes not as good now as he was several years ago. Hes now a guy that has to pace himself and fight in spurts and thats just not the type of fighter he is when hes at his best.

Actually really looking forward to this fight with Matthysse. Its a Hard one predict but I really could see Pacquiao getting laid out and having his career ended by Matthysse. He did not look good against Horn and if he stands in the pocket with Matthysse it could just take one shot to end it.

This is not good. Manny is significantly slower. Buboy was a mistake. Check out 1:25... Buboy messes up timing on the mitts and Manny gets pissed.

Based on the video comparison, Pac wins another belt. :number_one:
Then he should retire for good...:sifone:

Matthysse is hardly what he used to be as well. He doesn't fight anything like Horn. Pacquiao will beat Matthysse by comfortable unanimous decision.

    Agreed.
Horn fight showed us way too much of that.
Interesting to see how much of his ring craftiness can come into play against someone as prime or near prime like Lucas.
Personally, I think his best exit opportunity was after Bradley 3.

I can really see that one happening too, and if JMM did not retire him, Lucas might very well do.
And from the looks of his training, he is adding some pop behind his punches through all those weight training.
All that will make him sacrifice some speed too, which, I believe, is his edge on this fight.
Interesting to see how it will all play out come fight night.

Pac was gone before that. Pacs decline started in the Margocheato fight and was completed by PED KO6.
