Pac taking on Margarito is a huge mistake he will regret

Margarito is a big guy who fights small. I mean he doesn't even know how to use his reach, he just charges in face first with no defense. Pacquiao is going to bash that face in and hopefully for good and retire him.

Margarito's only chance to win is if he trains the body to the max, and protects the body because against Shane, AM could not take a body shot. Every body shot Shane landed doubled him over.

 

Pac is gonna whoop that ass.

 

Margs is going to have to use his jab over time Pit, and use his reach to keep PAc away. The old AM who moved back then had a chance against Pac...the stationary AM has no chance imo. Anyway, I'm rooting for Margarito since Pit thinks AM can win.

its a bad match up......beating margo will prove nothing in most eyes since he was destroyed by SSM, theres little to gain by winning.... but he wont win...margo is too big, too strong and will be up for this fight while pac has a million things going on with movies, politics, ect

its a huge mistake for pac if he beats marg in a one sided fashion since haters will never give him due credit for beating a bigger guy. he shouldve fought wlad.

 

I agree that the fastest fighter does not always win. Look at the Segura/Calderon fight for example. If it was a contest of speed and technical ability there is no way in hell Segura would have won. He won because he had 12lbs over poor Caleron and beat his body down then the head. Segura's defense makes Margarito look like Winky Wright by comparison.

Anthony Peterson is also speedier and the better boxer but he caught a beatdown against Brandon Rios because Bam Bam put the heat on him and wouldn't let him breathe. Rios was also 12lbs heavier on fight night against AP.

Margarito will be at least 12lbs if not more than Pacquiao and he is the far bigger opponent as well. If Manny goes all macho in there against Margo, he'll catch a beating to the body then head when he slows down.

However, I suspect that Pacquiao won't quit like those dudes even if he has to go out on his shield so it'll be a great fight whatever the outcome.

 

I've never seen Margarito as anything special. He's ever been considered elite in my book. I expect him to lose, but my fear is that he will win and then the expected super fight would be all screwy.

Then Mayweather would knock out Pac for a ton of cash and *******s would say that Pac was shot, or that Margarito provided the blueprint and again Floyd would not get the credit that he deserves.

Then the Mexicans that replace the Filipinos here would be claiming that Floyd iss ducking Margacheato. It'd be another year or so before Floyd got around to beating Cheato at 154 (no catch weight) and finally the hype would end and Floyd might get some credit.
