It's possible PBF is holding out on the Pac fight on account of there's still a few guys out there he could fight - Khan, Berto - and if he first fights Pac before them, he runs the risk of losing the 0, which would result in less money in those fights then if he fought them before Pac.

If Pac were to fight Martinez he might lose because Sergio's so good and so big, which would take some of the luster from a Pac PBF fight so PBF might be inclined to take the Pac fight if Pac ran around saying he wanted to fight Martinez.

I agree with this. Don't forget, Pacquiao and Arum are also doing the same thing.

Mayweather will pay the fine for being 2 pounds over, Pacquiao will go back to the phillipines a hero for beating Chris Arreola at a 135 pound catch weight limit. Leonard Ellerbe will be found at a homeless shelter mumbling "just keep boxing that muh ****er" Uncle Bob will be photgraphed stealing some more money out of Pacquiao's wallet! 50 Cent will get all gangsta.....and then maybe......just maybe.....we will watch a 36 year old Pacquaio fight a 38 year old Mayweather and we will all be happy!!

    The end!!

If they keep waiting, no one will care anymore. Just like Hopkins rematch with Jones, Jones finally fighting Tito Trinidad. If they wait until they are over the hill it will be a fluke. We want to see this now, not when they are out of options. Lets see if they deliver what we want. It hurts the sport of boxing when this melee cant get resolved and you have UFC airing on FOX for free.

    FIRST THING I THOUGHT
    This content is protected

FOR $MAY TO LET PAC FIGHT MARTINEZ BEFORE THEY FIGHT GOOD MOVE
FOR PAC AS IMHO $ WILL HAVE LITTLE CHOICE FROM FEAR OF PAC MAN LOSING
BEFORE THEY FIGHT. HOPE $ DON'T CALL HIS BLUFF AND FORCE PAC TO FIGHT
    SERG
AS I FEEL HE REALLY DON'T WANT THAT FIGHT EVEN THOUGH U KNOW HE IS GOING
TO DRAIN HIM IT IS STILL A VERY DANGEROUS FIGHT FOR PAC. AND US AS FANS
CAUSE A LOSE WILL DESTROY ALL THE LUSTER LEFT FOR A $MAY PAC MEGA
    BOUT:verysad

IF THIS HAPPENS SAY AFTER THE MARQUEZ BOUT IE. PAC CALLS OUT SERG WUT DO U GUYS THINK $ MAY WILL DO? IMHO HE HAS TO TAKE THE FIGHT AT THAT POINT.
    WHAT SAYS YOU?:think

This is the second thread now which claims Pac is looking at Martinez next. Still no source. I hope there's some truth to this, because like many have already said, **** Floyd. At worst, Pac will put up a respectable effort whilst losing. There's no harm in that. But if he wins....

Pac will never face martinez at 150 lbs unless he has a clause which states martinez can't gain any weight after the weigh in.

Pacquiao has a great chance of beating Martinez, ive always thought that! He could even win the fight at 154, but he would insist on a catch weight which would just dilute the whole ****ing thing!

If Floyd doesnt wanna dance cause of the drug testing then Pac should fight Martinez at 154, Mayweather would NEVER live it down if Pacquiao beat Martinez!

no people will say martinez was weight drained fighting at 150, and they would have a valid point. Throw in the mix that there would also be a clause where martinez couldn't gain any weight after the weigh in, this would be De la Hoya part 2.

If floyd did these tricks he would be shitted on when it pac, we find excuses:-(

Pacquiao would kill Martinez and Mayweather in the same night.
