good post. Pacman is a notoriously fast starter and Margarito a slow one and starts in the later rounds. I think both fighters will surprise alot of people. Pacman has shown in recent fights like vs. Clottey and Cotto where he paces himself more even if he loses a round or 2. Margo, on the other hand, as a slow starter he can still be dangerous and land some bombs in the first minute of the first round. That is something not to overlook. I think Pacman's best chances are to land his straight lefts and attack Margarito's body to slow him down and most importantly, TIE UP Margarito. That was Mosley's key in beating him. For Margarito, he needs to avoid Pacman's left and cut off the ring, make Manny move more than he has to. Margarito needs to use that jab double jab and a right uppercut as Manny will move in to land his own shots. I think Margarito also needs to TIE up Manny when it gets dangerous for him, maybe even land an uppercut or hook when they are tied up. Learn something from the book of roughhouse tactics from Bhops. Manny will hate that ****, **** him off, and probably fight more aggressive, probably making more mistakes. Probably.

If Margarito was innocent, he would've sued Capetillo for tainting his career. The fact that he hasn't says a lot.

Why do you insist that Manny said he is afraid of needles? The other two statements are vaild quotes from him.

You are right, I never did hear it come from Manny's mouth about being afraid of needles.
Roach however did say it on at least a couple of occasions and I never heard Pacquiao refute it.

.....but I'll give Pacquiao the benefit of the doubt on that, as he did'nt say it, and certainly I cant expect a man to be held responsible for everything someone else from his camp may say.
Roach however is someone high on the scale in that camp, that he knows better than to say that about Pacquiao if he has'nt discussed it with him first.

Dumb thing to do from either Freddie, Pac, or both.

    "Absolutely not!
We are not going to bow down to have Mayweather change the rules and regulations and have him dictate what drug tests should be administered for this fight.
If the Nevada commision asks us to do it, we will comply."
That is all that anyone from Pacquiao's camp needed to say on the matter of Mayweather's demands.
......but instead Pacquiao and his whole camp made fools of themselves by first Roach on videotape when asked what Mayweather was proposing, mockingly stating, "Manny will pass any test, not a problem."

    ......then the vast weak excuses.....

....then only lastly after already having made fools of themselves, "We will not have Mayweather distate to us what drug tests should be taken.":nut

That last statement was'nt damage control, it was an embarrasment after all that had happend to that point!

    ......

Do you think Pacquiao can do this?

No one till Mosley was able to do this to Margarito, not even Paul Williams who's tall, had a reach, and certainly would not want to fight at close quarters with Margarito.

One thing to say about Mosley, he's one if the most physically strong welterweights in history.
Reports were way before the Margarito fight that Mosley could bench press over 300 lbs. Thats an insane ammount of weight for a 147 lbs man to bench press.

That strenghth is what allowed him to tie up Margarito.

I just have'nt seen Pacquiao look to tie up anyone.
    Just not his style.

Manny Pacquiao won't look like Superman in this fight, I can tell you that much. Don't be surprised when you a bloody Pacquiao in the corner and Roach more nervous and shakey as ever.

Yeah, he was all but done. He looked dead on his feet, just like I do when I've run up the stairs to quick. All those PED's have done nothing for him. He has **** tattoos and is afraid of needles and Mayweather.

    :blood

Margarito is a big guy and is strong but he's been inactive, looked poor last time out and is facing someone at the top of his game. It will be a good fight but I think you're giving Margarito a bit too much credit.
