Not that I think he's going to do anything good there, but it's obvious that at 130lbs he hasn't done anything and he doesn't plan on doing anything. Atleast at 135lbs he'd be attempting to fight for a title whereas at 130lbs he was content fighting EM, and MAB no matter whoelse was in the division, and if it wasn't them it was other guys coming off losses, or moving up in weight!

When it's said and done and PAC moves up to 135lbs instead af atleast fighting a Champion at 130lbs his 130lb resume will look like ****, and will be overlooked so why not make the move now?

I honestly don't think the move to 135lbs will be successful because Pac will lose speed and power, and he just doesn't have the skill set to cope w/those bigger guys. Now this is just my opinion so don't go crying, and whining Pac ppl! I give it to Pac for thinking it, and attempting should he do so, but eventually he'll be back to 130lbs were he won't have the same standing, and bargaining power if these guys start fighting eachother and unify. If it's JMM than he'll lose alot of that bargaining power. He'll be looked at by JMM as a fighter he doesn't need, and then all the sudden you Pac fans will act like it's a fight that needs to happen, and JMM won't be this fighter that merit's nothing for Pac!

Hey I wish Pac luck at 135lbs, but I just don't see him being successful, but he's not doing anything at 130lbs so Why Not?

He will get knocked out at lightweight, the difference in punch power from SF/W to L/W is the biggest jumper along with LM/W to M/W!

He wont get past Juan Diaz or Katsidis he is to small!

amazing the amount of hate Pac gets for taking on tough challenges and dominating the opponents he's supposed to dominate.

Pac beat Barrera easy after JMM struggled with Barrera. The first time around he totally destroyed Barrera, who is certified ATG.
Pac completely outboxed Larios, yet still gets called 1 dimensional
Beat the **** out of Solis and knocked him out in a tuneup, yet people said he was slipping even though he won almost every round.
Avenged a 115-113 loss against Morales by knocking him out twice. Pac was a clear underdog in the 2nd fight and practically even odds in the third.

Even David Diaz is a good test. not the biggest challenge but **** Pac is plowing through divisions and gets no credit, while other fighters who move up and fight past prime has beens (or never beens) get all the credit in the world.

I wouldn't say Pac is plowing thru a division where there's all those Champions and he's hasn't gone near any of them. I wouldn't say he's dominating either. Yes he's dominated his opponents, but none of them are relevant to the division, and he didn't fight MAB again til he was coming off a lost! I wish you guys would stop bringing up EM who hasn't won a fight in yrs. Solis and Larios moved up, and don't forget Larios rung his bell real good!

Anyway, he still hasn't done anything there so it's not like the other ppl get more credit just cause, it's just a fact that these other ppl are doing something beside seeking out guys coming off losses, and moving up!

I'm convinced that some of Pac's fans would give him credit even if he knocked out a 12yr who weighed 130lbs as long as he dominated him and made alot of money!!:yep

Pac's having to move up in weight is a symptom of his lifestyle right now. 2 years ago he didn't even need to be at 130. A year ago, he still didn't need to be there and refused to fight at a catchweight of 133 for Morales. Now suddenly he can't make 130 anymore?

This is either a negotiating tool to lower JMM's price and get Pac a bigger shre of the pie or his lifestyle is catching up with him and his weigh management. We are seeing the end of the Pac Man. And I agree he gets clocked at 135.

    Agree.

But I would prefer Pacman to stay at 130 and fight Marquez. The winner would be the new 130 Champ.

Your post is untimely friend. Was this done on purpose or what? :D

What do you mean he's not planning anything? The negotiations for a JMM fight is on going and according to the report today . . . it's almost a done deal.

If the fight doesn't push through . . . that doesn't mean Pac has no intention of achieving anything on the division . . . that only means failed negotiation. Isn't that more logical?

And what do you mean he hasn't done anything at 130? Is putting Morales and MAB on retirement doesn't count as accomplishements?
